Craig - wonderful to hear you enjoyed Ocean Kure! Ocean Kure is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and the Kure Beach pier. All of these areas are within walking distance from the front door. If you drive less than 5 minutes down the road you will also find Ft. Fisher, the aquarium, and the ferry that will take you to beautiful historic Southport. We're sorry to hear that the pool was closed for inspections during your stay. So you know, the pool is managed by the HOA of this condo complex. I'm happy to see that we were able to compensate you for the pool being closed. Thank you for choosing Ocean Kure! We have sent a request into our maintenance department and will take a look at that. The pool is ran by the HOA and they have chosen not to supply any chairs for the pool. Wendy, Thank you for your feedback. So glad you loved the location and extra amenities this property provides. We will relay the information regarding the queen bed to the only, however it is very subject as to how each person likes their bed whether they like a soft or firm bed for sleeping. Our system shows that you did have a few issues with the door code, but our agent was able to assist and get you in the property to start enjoying your vacation. Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your experience Donna. I'm glad there were parts of your stay that were acceptable and that you enjoyed the time spent with your family. It is always unfortunate when an amenity breaks at the last minute, as it seems there is no good time to have an equipment failure. As you know, we tried to address the problem with the lift chair but it had to be referred out to a vendor, and for that inconvenience we did provide a $100 refund from the owner. The HOA controls pool access, and we do not promise these at any time of year but most especially in the springtime as it can be difficult to get them opened and inspected. We'll certainly take your advice on the bed to heart and see if it is time to replace that item.

You can see it and the ocean from the ocean front living room and the ocean front master suite. Just beautiful! Thank you for allowing Ocean Kure to host your beach vacation!

The owners do supply bath mats for their guests during each reservation. However, we will speak with the owners regarding the rugs for the foyer. So you know, the pool is ran by the complex HOA. We do not have control of the opening or closing of the pool. Thankfully the beach is only a few steps away from the front door! Thank you for allowing Ocean Kure to host your family beach retreat! Fantastic to hear that you and your family enjoyed Ocean Kure, Jessica! The owners have truly put a personal home touch into the decorations of this property making for a nice relaxing vacation. You are correct! Relaxing on either of the oceanfront balconies is very peaceful. Did you happen to catch any of the Carolina sunrises while relaxing?
