Ocean View Sunset Apartment is located in quiet community, seven minutes (driving) from downtown the City of Castries. Convenient bus and taxi services operate in the area. Our surroundings are tidy, lush green and overlook the Caribbean Sea. This tropical atmosphere is the ideal place to soak in the Caribbean sunshine as well as to relax and unwind on the porch at the day’s end, while witnessing yet another spectacular sunset.

Ocean View Sunset Apartment is self-contained, situated on Lower Morne Fortuné on the outskirts of Castries. This comfortable two bedroom/ one bathroom apartment is fully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen, furnished sitting/dining room; the porch overlooks the verdant tropical surroundings and the calm Caribbean Sea.
We provide bed linen, bath and beach towels along with free Cable TV, Wi-Fi and internet access.

Wonderful host! Beautiful view! Comfortable! Spacious apartment with most of what you would need to prepare and cook your own food. Cooking utensils and cooking receptacles were helpful in my projects.

Maria was a very great host. She was incredibly helpful, greeted us upon arrival, and kindly drove us to the store on our first day.We had a great stay at her apartment. It was exactly as described. The apartment has a beautiful ocean view that really enhanced our stay. The place is very quite. The host was responsive and check-in and check-out were smooth. The bed was comfortable, well equipped kitchen. We’d happily recommend it.

Beautiful stay in St. Lucia

Maria is the most wonderful host! Wish we had communicated with her more frequently before we arrived on the island because she is incredibly helpful and provides a wealth of information. We would not have rented a car had we known she would be able to arrange a driver for us. We enjoyed staying in her comfortable home and the ocean views it offers.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Once our booking was confirmed, our host remained in-touch and kept us updated. Our flight was a bit delayed getting to SLU. However, Ms. Cadet was so understanding and we were so surprised our welcome package included mangos and banana cake (both our favorites). The view is to die for, it more beautiful in person. will definitely recommend anyone visiting Saint Lucia to book this location. You will enjoy, the view, the quiet night time and the host is amazing. Thanks Ms. Cadet, for your hospitality in making our stay enjoyable and I will definitely book this location if it's available on a future visit.

Beautiful sunset view!

We had a pleasant stay in this clean and comfortable apartment. The balcony provides a very pretty view to the west for breathtaking sunsets. The neighbourhood is very hilly, as is the whole island, and walking is difficult. The treadmill in the unit was a welcome addition. Our host was charming, helpful and very security conscious. Dogs are prevalent in this area and can be noisy at night. This unit makes an excellent home base if you plan on renting a car to tour the island.

Maria is a very gracious and attentive host. We were arriving in the afternoon on Easter Sunday. She contacted us a few days in advance to let us know the shops would be closed and generously offered to pick up a few groceries for us. The view from the balcony is lovely and everything is as advertised. If you plan to drive, know that most of the car companies won't rent to drivers 65 and over, an unpleasant surprise for us at the airport Budget counter. The roads are hilly, winding, narrow, and filled with potholes.

Our memorable stay at Coubaril

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's home. Excellent Western view of the Caribbean sea from the main living area and master bedroom balconies. The night's sounds really showcase the tropical feeling. Maria is an excellent, helpful, and "concerned for our experience" host. DYI transportation is for experienced drivers only. WIFI connectivity can be a nuisance at times. The property is very clean, well stocked, with amenities to provide flexibility for stove-top cooking or barbequing. Maria did her absolute best in making our stay a memorable one. Our sincere thanks.

Eleven Out Of Ten!!

My wife and I stayed in this unit for eight days and the experience was an eleven out of ten! Maria made sure that we always had what we needed and provided great ideas for sightseeing - with many tips on getting around the island. We watched the sunset every night from the balcony; we miss that already. We got lost on our second day when we walked back from the Morne bakery and a young man walked us back to our place. When we were about 200 metres from our property, he framed the ocean with his hands and said that was his favorite view of the island - that says it all. We would whole-heartedly recommend this unit. You will not regret it!

Stay like at home

We came here for a weekend trip from another island and enjoyed our stay a lot. The living room and kitchen are spacious and well-equipped with everything one would need (for sure, more than we needed). The beds were comfortable, and due to the breeze, we didn't need the air condition. From the house, there is a nice view over a garden, a small forest and a few houses down to the ocean. It was great sitting during dusk and dawn on the porch and listening to the frogs and birds. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house has every precaution for security, Maria is a great host, caring for every need and making things as easy as possible. As we didn't have a phone working for St. Lucia, she simply lent one to us for the time. Thanks again for the comfy stay!

Apartment with a view

Simply a wonderful place to stay. Maria was so accommodating and helpful with information. She even invited us ride with her north to the Friday night fish-fry on our last night. We regretted we were too tired to take her up on the generous offer. The apartment is clean. The kitchen is adequately supplied. We were there for 13 nights and made all breakfasts and a few dinners in the apartment and had all we needed to prepare our meals. The pros: beautiful view, over all quiet (except the wonderful roosters in the morning and the occasional dog) peaceful and restful, away from the congestion and of course a wonderful hostess. The cons: far enough away from the above mentioned congestion that a car really is needed to explore, shop and dine out. Highly recommended.

The view will definitely not disappoint!

To begin, this was definitely a relaxing spot to chill for a vacation. The cool, awesome breeze was heavenly and we took full advantage of nap times. The place was definitely SAFE and SECURE as this is very important when traveling to an unknown place. Our host Maria was exceptional and thought of everything we could have possibly needed. Her kindness and professionalism is very much appreciated. Her hospitality made it very easy to enjoy the time there and contributed to our vacation being worry free. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying and you will want to visit again after your first time. As stated in the “intro”, the views are amazing and breathtakingly beautiful.

Lovely Tranquil Villa

The view is beautiful! The villa is lovely and comes equipped with everything you need. It is so quiet and peaceful. The sea view is amazing. Our host, Maria, is so thoughtful and caring. I made a mistake on our dates and she accomodated us, no problem. She was very helpful. We will be back.

Exquisite! Maria, is a wonderful host! The views are spectacular and the location is ideal.

The property has beautiful views of the ocean! The location is peaceful and serene. The accommodations are lovely with St. Lucian decor and everything you will need for an extended stay (washer, towels, sheets, kitchenware, appliances, cookware, games, and more!) It was AMAZING to wake up each morning and to sit on either of the balconies (one outside a bedroom and the other outside the living room area) and to watch boats sail by or to relax while admiring the calm water. Maria is a very loving and caring host and makes us feel at home. She accommodated us with lifts into the city to shop and to go to Vigie Beach, she shared information about places to visit, and gave us plantains, flowers, and more! We are leaving changed by the beauty of the island and the people of St. Lucia. We are recommending friends and family to come and stay.

Sea view Apartment

This was a very nice apartment to stay in. It has a nice big open style living room, dining area and kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary accessories. Two good sized bedrooms and a good size bathroom. The apartment has a security system and safety bars, so the apartment is very secure. The apartment is the lower half of the house and you have your own driveway and separate entrance. The house is in a residential area and it was nice and quiet. There is a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the bay with a westerly view. Beautiful sunsets in the evening. The owner Maria was an excellent hostess. She was very friendly and helpful with information about the apartment and the local area. She was always available for questions or requests. She gives very good directions to find her location. Follow her directions rather than the GPS or google maps directions.
