Queenscliffe Cottage - Olde world charm

Experience the romance of the 1940's in this quaint, historic cottage lovingly restored to it's former charm. Surrounded by a rambling olde world garden of herbs, flowers and 100 year old fruit trees, the cottage is a unique example of pre-war island architecture.

Experience life as it was in the early 1900's when time stood still. Warm yourself by the wood combustion heater in winter and enjoy the cool sea breezes in summer. A short 2 minute stroll down the road will take you to the Kingscote wharf precinct, the tidal pool, galleries, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

The cottage boasts two bedrooms and a central kitchen opening to a large dining area. Period furniture and decor blends tastefully with modern amenities. Enjoy the spacious, well designed bathroom (all quality linen and towels supplied).

Queenscliffe Cottage is well loved by the locals, where several generations of Islanders have called it home.

Cottage gardens tranquility

Lovely cottage with beautiful kitchen garden - close to shops, beach and excellent food - also many of KI’s tourist spots. Would stay again and drink a wine on the porch while watching the local family of honeyeaters - so sweet. Thanks Sunny

Healthy Cottage

Kingscote Cottage was quaint and in a great location. Hosts very generous with an amazing here vege garden. Only comment would be we had to walk through room where our friends (couple) were sleeping to use bathroom

Small and sweet.

I loved staying at your cottage. It was like visiting your elderly aunt for the week. Everything you needed and from the age where gadgets were made from wood and tin. And Kangaroo Island is so very special and spectacular. I hope I get to return soon. Eleanor

Super short stay

3 days was definitely not enough. Amazingly clean and quirky cottage. Absolutely everything we needed, comfortable beds, lovely quiet area and so close to all the shops. Lovely cottage garden but we were so busy seeing all the sights that we didn’t have time to sit and enjoy it. We will definitely return. Thank you Fern for allowing us to enjoy your little bit of heaven

Lovely quaint cottage

The cottage was lovely. Nice and clean and central to Kingscote. Loved having the firewood available for the open fire. Would highly recommend!
