2 story vacation home located in the coveted East Village of Shaver Lake. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. 45 minute drive to China Peak Ski Resort and an easy hike or drive to the lake. 2 Bedrooms and 1 bath located downstairs with family room and new smart heater. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and a half bathroom. There is also a twin size bed next to the stairwell and an additional television. Gravel driveway can easily accommodate 3 cars. Wood front deck is perfect for entertaining during the summer

Amazing Family Friendly Cabin

This cabin is a lot bigger than I thought when I booked. We are a family of 4 and there was plenty of room for more. Next year when we go to Shaver, this will be our first pick. Check in was easy and the owner was very responsive. I highly recommend staying here.

Was a nice stay…cabin is small dated and has a musty smell…should inform guests that wood stove is “broken” when booking reservation not night before stay….

I am glad you had a nice stay at our home. Just to clarify, I notified you the BBQ we have for guests to use was broken and I just found out from housekeeping, not the wood stove to heat the home. We no longer use the wood burning stove inside as it is unsafe and takes a long time to heat the house. We installed a smart heater that heats the house quickly and efficiently. Thank you for your review.

Perfect!

Great home in a quiet neighborhood. This cabin had everything for our family of 4. My girls had the entire upstairs, with the adults downstairs. Cabin was very clean and well stocked for our visit. Safe road out front to watch the girls ride bikes as you lounge on the deck with tables and chairs. Short walk into town from Cabin. The TV was a bit of a challenge as it appears it was dependent on wifi speed, so at times tv didnt work. But not really a biggie as we were wiped out after full days at the lake and dinkey creek. For the to-do-list, shower water pressure needs help. Other than that, this place is a real gem. I'm really looking forward to staying here again. Thank you for the most excellent vacation and Cabin.

Winter Snow Trip

Property is in a great location, within walking distance to the center of town. Exterior and interior of the home were clean. Kitchen and living room have plenty of space to move about. Heating on the first floor keep the living room and kitchen warm. Bedrooms on the first floor are spacious. Some of the dishes and cups appeared to not have been cleaned. Since the trip was in the winter, the heater in the living room does not provide heat to the upstairs or the bedrooms on the first floor. Upstairs rooms are tiny. The home was good for a family with young children (Under 10) but would be great for a group of young adults on a ski trip.

Perfect Family Getaway

We booked this cabin for a weekend at Shaver Lake for my husbands birthday. We were very pleased with our stay. The neighborhood was peaceful and neighbors were friendly. The cabin is much bigger in person than how it appears online. The king bed downstairs was super comfy with just the right amount of pillows (there’s more pillows and blankets provided as well). The Kitchen was fully stocked and even included some spices / seasonings which came in handy since I forgot mine! The bathrooms were kind of small (the shower can only fit one person at a time or two small children) but that wasn’t a problem for us. However, the stairs are a bit dangerous for small children. I have two very active toddlers (ages 3 & 2) who kept wanting to climb up the stairs. Thankfully, we found a gate that helped us keep them from going upstairs. Other than that, the cabin is children friendly. The Tv had Apple TV and we were able to watch Netflix and YouTube. We also used the grill outside and it worked just fine. Overall, our experience was pleasant and the owner was super friendly and quick to respond. I would definitely come back to this cabin!

Great little cabin

The cabin is bigger than the pictures look. It is close to town which makes it convenient. There was plenty of space for 9 people. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, dishes, etc. There are plenty of towels and extra blankets. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Cozy Cabin

My entire family had a wonderful experience at the cabin. It was close to shopping and restaurants. It was also a short drive to Shaver lake and to China Peak. The cabin was clean and very cozy. I'll definitely consider renting again in the near future.

Lovely home and Hostess

The pre Checkin through check out was especially stress free. Hostess Stefani did an awesome job of leaving any details about her lovely cabin and for our stay prior to visiting and even during being responsive to any concerns or questions we had. In short Awesome communication with Hostess, comfortable stay for 6-8 guests or even more, and Stefani was accommodating providing anything we needed. Happy guests for sure! Would definitely recommend 10/10.

Nice and quiet place

The place looks small in pictures, but feels much bigger especially with the pull out twin beds. The only issue we had was that the cleaning company showed up late to clean up after the previous tenants. The previous tenants did not clean up at all after themselves so the cleaning company had a lot of cleaning to do before we could get in at 3pm. Stefani was really nice and accommodating, she came by to drop off extra toiletries and napkins and to make sure that we were able to get in. I would recommend this cabin and would stay again.

Cozy because our heater worked AWESOME! With snow on the ground and grandparents in tow, this was one of the most important features of the home for our stay. The kitchen is well stocked and met our needs. They even had a wine opener , which, is the other important feature for this group! Thanks for a fun time.
