King’s Cabin Mtn Retreat at Shaver Lake! – Nr Village, wifi, A/C, Prem Property!

(Now with Central Air Conditioning! A very unique amenity in our mountain community but one that really makes for a comfortable stay on the 90 degree days which seem to be more common lately!)
This family-friendly, pet-friendly, beautiful, two-story home is located in popular Sierra Pines located a little more than a mile from the Village of Shaver Lake.
There are 4 bedrooms (sleeps 14 in beds plus 4 more in a convertible sofa and rollaway beds) and 3 full baths so there is plenty of room for large gatherings and year-round vacation. Along with a full two car garage to keep your vehicles out of the snow and pine needles, the main level features an open floor plan with walls of windows to enjoy the beautiful forest setting. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace surrounded by a stone hearth. The kitchen is accented with beautiful knotty pine cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. It is fully outfitted for the chef complete with gourmet knife set, spices, small appliances and everything else you might need to prepare your favorite meals. Off the living room is a large private deck perfect for those summer BBQs. Propane BBQ is hooked up to the house for an endless supply of fuel.
The garage doubles as a 500sf game room complete with 55” TV, Blue-ray, internet video streaming, dart board and ping pong with many other games and activities to be added in the coming months. Living room has large flat screen TV with Blue-ray player and internet streaming. You can play music from your device through the sound system in both the Living Room and the Game Room. Broadband Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.
Downstairs there is a full bath near the living room. Upstairs you will find the luxurious Master Suite complete with large Jacuzzi tub along with 3 additional bedrooms and an additional full bath. All bathrooms are complete with granite countertops and knotty pine cabinetry. Our retreat comfortably sleeps 14 with convertible sofas and rollaway folding beds. Our “cabin” is prepared and ready for you to come visit and start enjoying the mountain air at Shaver Lake.
Shaver Lake has year-round activities. In the summer there is water skiing, wakeboarding, and sea-doos that can be rented at the Shaver Lake Marina. There are numerous other lakes, creeks, waterfalls, and hiking trails of all levels of intensity to suit everyone from the casual walker to the most aggressive mountaineer. In the winter there is world class snow skiing at China Peak/Sierra Summit. They have plenty of good quality gear for rent so you can leave the bulky equipment at home and come enjoy the best skiing for literally hundreds of miles.

Please put furniture, comforters, blankets, and all other items back where you found them Leave all used linens (sheets and pillowcases ONLY) in pile on the floor near the garage

We had an amazing stay at Kings Cabin in Shaver Lake! This beautiful four-bedroom, three-bath cabin is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire cabin felt cozy and welcoming.We especially enjoyed having a BBQ and relaxing at the cabin, while also exploring the many nearby lakes and places of interest. A visit to McKinley Grove of giant sequoias is an absolute must!We also found plenty of great and fun places to eat nearby. The host was fantastic and never intrusive, but always making us feel right at home throughout our stay.We cannot recommend Kings Cabin enough and would love to stay here again!

Great location off the 168. 3 minute drive to downtown Shaver, 10 min to the lake. Amenities were fantastic. Very clean and comfortable cabin, highly recommend. Host was fantastic to work with. 10/10 property. We used the property for overflow for a sales meeting we did at my cabin in Music Falls and it was perfect!

I can’t say enough great things about staying at this cabin. Our host was very helpful with everything. We will planning with this host/cabin again for our future vacations. Location was not far from town and was easy to navigate to. The cabin had plenty of rooms for 10 people to stay and having a washer/dryer in the garage to use was a bonus! The host had items for us to use from basketballs, ping pong table, other outdoor items and board games as well. The kitchen was stocked with extra appliances, utensils, cups, plates/bowls etc to use to make cooking easier. I definitely recommend you book with this host for your vacations.

I got this cabin for 4 days and 3 nights for my finances 45th birthday and our family vacation. It was PERFECT! 5 mins away from the water. Close to stores and restaurants but far enough away to feel like we weren’t near the main road. It was peaceful and quiet. The house provided all we needed. We forgot our towels at home but luckily the cabin had some to use. The kitchen was well stocked and the house felt comfortable for our family guests. When we came home for the night, the kids had fun in the game room/garage and playing outside. I didn’t feel worried about them outside being kids. If you want a nice spacious place in the woods, I highly recommend this. Our host was very responsive and friendly. We made sure to clean up and place everything back where it belonged. Thank you!

First off the host was great at communicating before the trip. The mountain home is beautiful and welcoming. I didn’t feel like I had to work hard to relax. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep and more than enough bathrooms. My only complaint is that we had to go home.

We live and work in San Luis Obispo building custom homes but we love to relax at Shaver Lake. It has long been our desire to have a cabin in the mountains. Now that we have it, we look forward to sharing it with you! There are two types of enjoyment when it comes to having a cabin. One is the enjoyment of using the cabin yourself. The second is the blessing of having others enjoy it too!

With year round access, luxurious floor plans and spacious indoor garages, these homes are able to meet the needs of a wide variety of guests. From the first time we saw a home in Sierra Pines, our hearts were set on being able to have one of our own and be able to share it with our friends and family!
