Nice spot with great views within easy walking distance to a cool stretch of the beach. Apollo Bay proper within easy driving range so popping out to the shops was easy. Kelly was thorough and quick with the communication. Heaps of room and dogs allowed, it definitely feels like you've been given the keys to a much-loved family holiday house.

What a wonderful stay! Gorgeous views and a home with everything we could need for a relaxing break away. Heaps of space for a family with three teens to spread out in. Watching the wild weather come over the ocean was a highlight! Would definitely recommend!

Breathe taking views. The house had all the basics to make a comfortable holiday, down to the basic nitty gritty. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Hope to come back again. The whole family loved the place.

It was a lovely spacious home with a magnificent sea view. There were some interesting visitors in the form of parrots, cockatoos, galahs and corellas. Parking was also very easy.

Skenes Creek Winter Escape

Great property! The views were great, the fire place was perfect. Close proximity to Apollo Bay and Otway Ranges. Our daughter loved the swing and trampoline! Loved it and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect short break

Happy Holidays

Wonderful house and location for a family holiday. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed. Feeding the birds was fun, as was the table tennis and trampoline. Rockpooling at the beach down the road was a highlight. We would stay here again.

Clean space close to Apollo Bay with plenty of room for the family to spread out board games and Dvds for the children beautiful birds visiting in the morning over looking the location. Host was prompt with any questions needing answering

GREAT VIEW & SERENITY

Very clean but a little bit of smell of dampness & a stronger smell for the downstairs bedroom. But loved the balcony views & the sound of the ocean.

Thanks Mary, i have since added more dehumidifiers and added reed diffusers to downstairs and upstairs. As we are so close to the ocean and damp sea air is sometimes an issue.

Views and Chairs for miles

We really enjoyed our stay at Skenes Creek. This home is located in a super quiet area with only the birds and the ocean to listen to and is in walking distance to the beach. Although the house hasn't been updated it presents extremely well and was very clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms are great with fans in all rooms as well as reverse cycle air con and a wood heater. We hit town on a very hot day and the cooling worked a treat. The upstairs living area is huge with enough seats for a footy team. There is also a lovely deck with ocean views and more seating. Downstairs is an undercover area that overlooks the well fenced yard which our dog enjoyed. We would definitely stay here again.
