Three Trees Retreat stunning views

Three Trees Retreat achieved Finalist in 2014 Stayz Holiday Rental Awards Eco-Friendly category. A stylish and contemporary house in a bushland setting, just a few steps from a sheltered sandy cove on the D'Entrecasteaux Channel shoreline.

Killora is a quiet and secluded part of North Bruny, although it's only 15 minutes or so from the Roberts Point ferry terminal, and five minutes from the Dennes Point village precinct, with its bistro, provedore and gallery.

Watch dolphins, seals, penguins, white-bellied sea eagles and wedge-tailed eagles from the deck while quolls, echidnas and wallabies also abound.The timber deck wraps around to an accessible entrance ramp on the side.

Accommodation includes one queen bed and two single beds, a comfortable living area with flat screen television and sound system. There are laundry facilities, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom that includes a large walk-in shower.

Two night minimum stay applies. Beds shall be made up with fresh linen according to the number of persons booked. Soap, coffee and tea bags and small milk carton provided.

While definitely off the beaten track on a dirt road and away from the “tourist” spots, this was a huge plus as we got to start our Tassie adventure in peace and quiet, on the water with bush surrounds.The place is cozy, the heaters kept us warm and the full window views were incredible. North Bruny is a beautiful place - would highly recommend Three Trees

The views were to die for. A late afternoon swim followed by a glass of sparkling and fresh Bruny Island oyster whilst watching watching the sunset was perfect. We would love to return again.

Three Trees Retreat was even better than the photos suggest. It was so restful, calm, and unbelievably beautiful. Watching the sunset from the deck each evening was a treat...and then THE STARS. Oh my. It was a balm for this city girl's soul. Check-in was a breeze and Rohan was very kind and helpful. Thank you!

Great location with excellent views, beds extremely comfortable. The shower had excellent pressure, we totally enjoy our stay especially viewing the wildlife at dusk and dolphins in the channel 😀

A few broken cupboards in the kitchen. Bathroom light was flashing. Bedside lamp in the main bedroom was flashing. Cushions need and floor mat in the family room need cleaning. Coffee was great heaters worked well. Oven was hard to use.

Thanks for the heads up but why not tell me privately? In my welcome message to you I asked you to tell me privately if there are any issues so that I can attend to them. No-one has mentioned these till you. There’s no lack of care in my part but sometimes guests break things and don’t tell me and the cleaner doesn’t notice either. I fixed the kitchen cupboard 6 weeks ago but from what you say it has been broken by a guest again. It’s just poor form to bag a host publicly without giving them the chance to fix things.

Hideaway with spectacular views

Well designed simple cabin with spectacular views and quiet location on north Bruny. We loved touring the busier parts of the island and sneaking back to our wonderful solitude. Nebraska beach great for low tide walks and afternoon swims.

Great views, good fishing, lovely walks, great eating, nice community. Surrounded by nature.

What makes this property unique

Fantastic views. Lovely to sit out on balcony. No neighbours looking in. Lovely light throughout the house. Keeps warm in winter when heaters are used. Even in poor weather can look out over the channel from inside. Potoroos and possums visit and sometimes a quoll. Lots of trees around property so lots of bird calls.
