Very comfortable and homely

What ever we needed was provided, the country setting with the variety of farm animals, very friendly. A awesome place to stay.

Lots of outdoor room for the kids

We enjoyed our stay here as a central location for accessing Cradle Mountain and other places in the region. Our children enjoyed the games room and the space around the home - including the daily visit of chooks, cows, donkeys and a horse to our back fence

Very rustic

Great location 45 minutes to Cradle Mountain. Property is very run down but tidy needs a major reno.

Dissapointing

Despite it's fantastic location, our stay at Granary was very disappointing. The cabin was run down, very musty smelling, all spare quilts were dirty and covered in grass and one had a cockroach inside it, the beds were uncomfortable and the front door entrance was covered in bird droppings and obviously hadn't been cleaned in some time. Most disappointing of all was the games area - out of the 20-30 bikes there, we could find only 2 that were usable (all the rest rusty and covered in cobwebs), the mini gold course was overgrown and unable and most of the games in the games room were either missing parts or broken. The only positives were the animals (cows, bulls, horses, etc) in close proximity to the cabins and staff were friendly and helpful. I do not like leaving bad ratings but on this occasion I think others need to be warned that this property is not as advertised and vastly overpriced considering all its shortfalls.

We had a great time staying here and loved the Easter eggs that appeared on Easter Sunday!

The landscapes are stunning, the cottage is big and comfortable and has everything you need and it is close to cradle mountain and the beautiful village of Sheffield.

Comfortable holiday home near Mt Roland & Cradle mountain

Comfortable house with heating and cooking facilities near Mt Roland & Cradle mountain parks. Great stay for kids lots to see and Wallabies, possums and birds.
