The best local meals on island can be eaten at The Local Experience. The Local Experience is a family home (with children), the place to be for your home away from home vacation. This cozy space is perfect for your stay and you automatically become part of this big family. We are located in Riviere Doree, Choiseul (south of the island) close to all of the enjoyable sightseeing locations on our small island. The apartment is approximately 10 minutes walking distance to a quiet beach and river. We look forward to your stay!

My residence is located on the same property, which ensures that you will be able to reach me if any problems arise. In addition to living closely, I also work within walking distance of the place, approximately two minutes. If you need any assistance or information regarding tourist attractions as well as taxi services to and from the sites, I will happily assist you.

Like I mentioned earlier in the description, the Local Experience is truly your home away from home. My family and I are open to taking you and your family under our wings to ensure that the time you spend here in our island and in our home is one that is memorable while giving you your privacy.

What makes this property unique

We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request and have in-house chefs if one needs a special occasion. There is a beach within 10 mins walk from the apartment. Upon request, your host can arrange taxi for tours, vehicles rentals for your stay, massage therapists, photographers and much more.
