Log Cabin Get Away-River Access with Deep Water, Pets OK, Rustic Cute

The Log Cabin Getaway is a quaint, comfortable, and beautifully appointed vacation home in the peaceful town of Wimberley. It is perfect for a family retreat, girls get-away, or couple's weekend in a tranquil setting. Let the kids feed the deer and play in our Kiddie Corner! Check out the neighborhood pool and basketball court. Lounge under the canopy of trees, watch the deer, or enjoy one of our two Private River Parks on the Blanco River.

At over 1650 square feet, the cabin is spacious and has a great floor plan with room for everyone. The 3-bedroom house has one bedroom downstairs with a queen-size bed. There is a full bath with a claw foot tub/shower. The large den has a sleeper sofa with a queen size memory foam mattress.

The exceptionally large master bedroom upstairs has a comfortable King bed. The third bedroom upstairs has two twin beds. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with a unique skylight and river rock tile in the shower.

The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for your group. The round dining table seats six and the drop leaf table in the den allows for more dining or a convenient desk. Check out the cute tree truck stools! My grandkids love them.

Did I mention all the necessities? Central air/heat, nice ceiling fans, high capacity and dependable Wi-Fi, good hot water supply, washer/dryer, cozy beds, gas grill...and always coffee! Smore's fixins are ready for you in the kitchen so you can sit around the campfire. We think smore's are necessary!

The Old Glory Ranch is only a mile down the road. The town square of Wimberley, which is full of great shops, restaurants and grocery stores, is only a 3.2-mile drive away along the beautiful Blanco River. Market days, which is the largest outdoor market in Texas Hill Country, is held the first Saturday of the month (March - December) and less than 10 minutes away. Don't forget Blue Hole, Jacob's Well, Hamilton Pool and the many wineries in the area. Try the Wimberley Zip Line to get the best views of the area!

Our property has access to two Private River Parks within walking or driving distance. Across River Road you will find one of the few "deep water" swimming holes in the area where you can try out the rope swing. (.4 miles/7-minute walk) The second park has a gradual beach front and picnic tables. (.5 miles/9-minute walk) It's a wonderful place to hang out and ride the small rapids here repeatedly. Our family does!

Fire up the gas grill, cook s'mores at the fire pit, have lunch on the 7' picnic table, relax in the hammock or swing in the large wooden swing under the outside string lights. With its peaceful setting and unique features, you will never want to leave the Log Cabin Get Away!

***BEFORE YOU SUBMIT A BOOKING REQUEST: Please make sure you have read the House Rules to see if this property is a good fit for your group, ESPECIALLY...You must be 25 years of age to rent our home. The renter of the home is responsible and must be on site during the rental period. A maximum of eight (8) guests will be allowed at the Log Cabin Get Away. Out of respect for our neighbors, quiet hours must be observed.

PETS: If you wish to bring a pet, they must be preapproved. Scroll down to House Rules, click on "View More". Read our pet rules, then along with your reservation request provide information about your pet (type, size, habits) and tell me if they can abide by our pet rules. If you know your pet is not a good fit, do not bring them. If they will fit right in, please tell me so.

Submit the total number of guests, ages, and include a note telling me who will be staying at our home including your pet.
