The common spaces are ideal for quaint conversation, enjoying friends and family. Renovated and functional kitchen, open to living area and dining provides all essentials. Great Place to Stay

The property is very nice and in a great location. The fourth bedroom is a little precarious if all of the guests are adults, but it is a great space. Everything is clean comfortable and accommodating. We would definitely book again.

Long weekend stay for a group of golfers. A very nice house and studio tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to restaurants and bars, Terry Blacks never disappoints.

This house was the perfect place for a bunch of friends in town for a short work trip. Perfectly located near everything needed for a good weekend. Coffee, food, convention center, mini golf, juice, etc! Would definitely come back to this space.

The perfect ACL getaway!

I booked this listing for my family for our ACL trip this year because we grew tired of the hotels in the area that would keep us up all night due to noisy neighbors. This place was perfect and had more room than I expected. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Zilker park too. I can't wait to book this place again for next year!!

Great house in Bouldin Creek

The house is spacious and sleeps a lot of people for a location so close to downtown. The detached studio apartment is a great perk. House comes well equipped and comfortable. Free parking on both the street and driveway. The neighborhood is quiet and within short walking distance to restaurants and the waterfront.

It is right where you want to be

The house worked well for 3 couples (in our sixties) visiting for the recent eclipse. We didn't use the kitchen much but for the breakfasts we did use it for it had all we needed and was nice. The house location puts you within walking distance (or an even easier scooter ride) to much of makes Austin such a fun town to visit. The shops and restaurants of Congress Ave, Downtown, the music scene on Sixth Street and the riverfront parks are very easy to get to without driving and figuring out parking. While close to the action, it's in a very quiet neighborhood. We'd stay again. The 4 stars are only because I reserve 5 for truly high end properties.

Great house, strange bathroom access!

The house is well maintained and has all you need. Washer and dryer are a bonus. Bathroom in main house is accessed via the two downstairs bedrooms only which is awkward for those sleeping upstairs at night. We coped but this detail is barely mentioned in the listing. Access to loft space is via a very narrow spiral staircase. Garden furniture wasn’t cleaned and ready for use.

Great place for bachelorette trip

This house was great for our weekend bachelorette trip!! All 9 of us could sleep very comfortably, the house was super clean and the local host was extremely accommodating and responsive! It’s in a great location too - we were able to walk to some restaurants, the convenience store, coffee shops and a park, and it was a quick Uber to downtown. The only downside was it was so hot when we were there (middle of July), even though we had the AC on, it was hard to cool the whole house below a certain temperature, but overall it was fine for us with the fans provided. The guest house also has a built-in AC unit so it was very cool in there. There is also only one bathroom in the main house, which worked fine for us, but just to keep in mind for larger parties. Overall definitely recommend for groups or parties, we had an awesome weekend and bachelorette trip!!

Cute and great location-not a spot for large groups

This place is very cute and for the price, it’s wonderful! We had 9 girls staying in the home and the toughest part is the bathroom situation. The 1 bathroom in the house is very small and the sink does not drain well. When you sit on the toilet for knees hot the tub and i’m only 5’3. The door is a barn door that latches but still isn’t very private. The 2nd “bathroom” is in the guest house and is a shower and a toilet hidden behind a curtain. It does the job, but having one small bathroom in the main is tough for larger groups. The upstairs loft is an attic transformed to a loft. I had to duck in most areas up there and again i’m 5’3. There was also mold on the ceiling in multiple areas from the humidity up there. For the price, this house is really great. You do sacrifice in multiple ways. On a budget, this will do the job!

Cute home, super close to DT!

Deanna, the property manager was very quick and timely with responses. There was an issue with the toilet and the heat. Both issues were communicated and responded to. With the heat issue there was no way the fix the furnace and so I asked for space heaters. They were delivered promptly! Unfortunately, the home was not as clean as I would like to have for my stay. The home had a lot of dust and dander collection on window seals, kitchen drawers and knobs, ect. The worst of it was the main bathroom. There was mold covering a large area of the shower curtain and there was left over toothpaste smears on the sink counter. It just didn’t feel that the last person to clean the place really cared at all. I do have photos if you would like them, please just ask.

We stayed for a bachelorette party in Austin. Location is good. Walkable to a few bars ~12 mins. When we arrived, there was six bags of dirty laundry piled in the living room, which took up most of the living room space because it is quite small. We had to lug them outside on the front porch and have the host pick them up or we wouldn’t have any room to move around. The upstairs gets HOT!! Be aware. A few fans wasn’t enough. It was only about 70 to 80° outside but the inside was almost unlovable upstairs. In the beds upstairs are not all laid out like the pictures. There are two twin beds right next to each other. We weren’t expecting that. The keypad lock failed on us several times both times right before we were leaving. The first time it happened we contacted the host via text and shortly after she was able to come and change the battery and leave a spare key. The second night after texting the host because our door will not lock AGAIN, we got no response so we left the house unlocked because our ride has arrived. It’s definitely an old house. A bit dirty…if you walk around barefoot your feet will be black.

Austin Trail of Lights

This is a beautiful little gem. The location for the event we did was awesome. The home was clean and well supplied. The neighborhood was quite and walkable to several restaurants, bars and a wonderful park for the kids. The down side was that the refrigerator was not working and we had planed on eating in and brought food. We notified the host and were told she would send someone to check it out or at least supply us with an ice chest, neither of those things happened, neither of those things happened. All in all a great place and hopefully they will fix the fridge and the dishwasher. To be fair we would rent again but would be better prepared.

Great Stay!

I shared this property with three other women all traveling for a work conference. It worked out great and allowed us to save some money versus staying at a hotel in individual rooms. Perfect location, comfortable beds. Only thing was the bathroom was small and accessible between bedrooms, so we had to share creatively between the 4 of us women, but for just 2 nights it was fine. Super cute decor and gave our quick trip some "hominess" that was nice while traveling. Overall really great choice!

Beautiful. Wonderful house. Unfortunately neither tub/shower was appropriate for a 94 year old and someone with mobility issues. Neither of us required special accommodation but both tubs were at least 3 feet tall to step into. And no grab bars. Pictures of bathroom showers not posted on website
