Virginia was such a gracious host! Quick to respond, so very helpful and kind. My favorite room was the living room with beautiful dappled light all day and a lovely view of the pool. The home is quiet, nestled in the Austin oak woodlands. The house has a lot of history, paintings and art books. There was plenty of room for our family.

This beautiful, unique property was the icing on the cake for our family gathering. The ambiance and energy added to our sacred time together. Virginia could not have been a kinder or more helpful host. The pool and piano added even more wonder to this magical place. We will definitely return one day, if possible!!!

The property was quite spacious and is in a beautiful setting. We had 9 guests staying in the home and we were all quite comfortable. All enjoyed our time spent by the beautiful pool, surrounded by beautiful trees, and in a very private setting. Our host was lovely.

My friends and I very much loved the house, the books, the back porch, the pool. The beds were even so comfortable. Virginia is a wonderful host. I would love to stay here again. It was perfect. It was the perfect t location for my 50th birthday party. All who attended fell in love with the charm of the house. Thank you Virginia! I highly recommend this house to anyone who want to hear birds and see cardinals in the yard.

We had a great time at this house. It’s on a very private, woodsy hill with a lovely pool and lots of historic charm, and it’s still very close to all the Austin attractions. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We would love to return sometime!

Charming family house

This property is like staying with friends—artwork and family memorabilia from as much as 80 years ago in a charming five-bedroom house overlooking a pool on a lower vista. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and will hopefully be back!

ACL Getaway Weekend

My friends an I go to ACL every year for the last 9 years and this house was by far the best we've stayed in. It was huge and comfortable and it was perfect. Will be staying here for future visits!
