A "Retreat" is exactly what this home offers. You will feel like you have just been to one after your stay here.
River View Retreat is in the perfect location. Situated high up on the hill this two storey offers views from both upstairs and down. This well presented holiday home sleeps up to 9 people and is the perfect place to enjoy with either your family or as a friends getaway.

After a day spent either hanging at the beach or cruising the river come home and enjoy a sundowner on the upstairs enclosed balcony. This is perfect during any season as it is surrounded by windows which can either be opened or closed depending on the conditions.

Upstairs also consists of a large entertaining area where you can hang out comfortably and challenge each other to a game of pool, your favourite board game, table soccer or or just chill on the couch and take a load off.

Downstairs also offers plenty of room to hang out with its large kitchen and dining area.

The home consists of 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 consists of 1 x queen bed, bedroom 2 has 1 x queen bed and the third has 2 x sets of bunks and 1 x double.
Air conditioning, Nespresso coffee machine (byo pods)

Property Strictly sleeps 9. Sorry No Pets, This property will not take school leaver bookings or under 25 adults groups. No Tents, Caravans or Camper Trailers allowed at property .Check in time is 2 pm unless prior arrangement has been made.

Practice kayaking canoeing, splashing and playing in the water, windsurfing, boating, photography, bird watching, climbing, collecting sea shells,building sand castles, treasure hunts, beach volleyball, or simply comb the beach for free craft supplies.
Pack a hamper and spend the day or a balmy evening with good company at the gas fired free barbecues under the trees and enjoy the river mouth view. Mother nature is often in action and occasionally the mouth of the river sandbar opens to the sea.
Swing the clubs on one of the most picturesque 9 hole golf courses in WA. For family fun day out enjoy a game of mini golf.
Paddle, kayak or canoe up the Moore River
Test your sand board skills at the sand hills.
Enjoy majestic sunsets over the Indian ocean.
Hang out the rods for some serious beach or reef fishing or catch some Bream in the River.

The house itself was very clean and smelled wonderful. The upstairs games room was excellent. The only downside was no TV reception with cricket on. The kitchen is well equipped and plenty of room for families. Kristen is always available for any enquiries and all the staff are friendly. We've already booked this property again love it.

Property is in perfect location and has the best view but outdated and overpriced. Wearher was atrocius so we didnt get any fishing in and couldnt go outdoors. Tvs werent working and mo wifi which made staying indoors worse. For the prrice tv and internet should be a given. House though was well stocked and clean.

Celebration for mother's birthday. Brought the family together from various locations. The pool table was a boon as was the large living space and enclosed verandah on a winter's day. Good size kitchen & dining room so we were never tripping over one another.

Everything was spacious and the view is amazing. the country value holidays team were so helpful right from start to finish and I was thoroughly impressed by their service. Easy to set up and pack down, plenty of utensils etc. The cleaning could be better and the whole property needed gardening but apart from that we enjoyed it and will always check in through country value holidays moving forward. Thank you.

great family holiday

Plenty of space, great fun for all 9 family members, ranging from 2 to 68. The negatives that did not spoil our holiday: On arrival sand under front door mat sent me sliding into the wall. All front door locks need maintenance, could not lock the security screen from outside. Bathroom taps, knobs falling apart, loose parts left on bench top. Childrens toy box lid was broken off, wood split, sharp nails exposed, we turned it around putting lid and nails towards the wall. Property in need of maintenance inside and out.

We didnt speak to or see the property manager at all, but received texts with all the information required leading up to and during our stay. We stay in Guilderton yearly and this was our best stay ever! The house was very clean and nice smelling. The view from the kitchen window and upstairs balcony was so beautiful and special to wake up to every morning. I felt so calm and peaceful just staring out at the river view. The house had everything required to make our stay comfortable and as easy as home. We did a bit of cooking but ate out a lot from the cafe and roadhouse, both of which make great food. We would and have already recommended this house to friends and family and we will definitely be back.

This was a great location with a wonderful view.The house was clean & spacious & the beds comfy.However there was no coffee machine & after inquiring about the brand I bought the pods to find no machine & owner not replacing it.I Please update the website it was very disappointing.I did expect a basic pantry S&P oil sugar tea like all the other places I have stayed at- there was nothing & no notes to say so.Why have a smart TV and no wifi!! The windows upstairs definitely need a clean , theres still missing lightbulbs & parts of the tapware & only 1 small freezer working ,lots of TLC needed which seems to be a normal occurrence.

The house offered stunning views of the river, which was just a short walk away, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. One of the highlights was the pool table, which provided hours of entertainment for the whole family. The house itself was well-equipped and comfortable, creating a relaxing atmosphere.The only downside was that the landscaping could use some attention, as the garden was quite overgrown, and there were weeds throughout. However, this didn’t detract too much from the overall experience, and we would certainly consider returning for another stay.

Chill getaway for the teenagers

The house was the perfect set up for a chill week with our teenage boys and their friends. The TV and pool table in the top storey hangout room and enclosed balcony was awesome, and the extra TV and seats downstairs gave the parents their space. Limited screen time access also meant more time for kayaking and sand dune sliding. The walk to the beach/shops was a little further than expected but they could handle it! Everyone had a great week - thank you!
