Top rated w/recent upgrades! Near Biltmore & downtown, fire pit, dog friendly

As of January 2025 we have 274, 5-star reviews out of 276 total!!! There is a reason :) This 2,000 sq. ft. home, built by the owners in 2016, is very private yet close to it all. The common areas are spacious and open . . . ideal for sharing time together and relaxing. The living room has very comfortable seating, a gas fireplace and TV. The wood dining table is BIG, and includes 8 chairs. The kitchen has a large island with "breakfast bar" seating, clean stainless steel appliances and white cabinets filled with a wide range of cooking supplies, utensils, etc.. We outfitted the bedrooms with super comfortable mattresses and soft cotton and micro-fiber sheets, along with quality dressers and nightstands. The bathrooms, with granite vanity countertops, stay sparkling clean! We created a "hang-out" room in the upper level (with 50" flat screen TV). For your outdoor time we fenced in the back yard where we have a patio, table and chairs, gas grill and a beautiful fire pit surrounded by boulders and landscaping. It's just one of those places that feels good both inside and out, and we'd love you stay with us!

Centrally located, the home is just 4 miles to downtown Asheville, 2 miles to the Biltmore Estate and Village. Shopping, groceries and multiple restaurants are within 2 miles and less than 2 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, I-240 and I-40. Everything around Asheville is quick and easy from our location!

Pet policy: though we love all animals, due to allergies we allow dogs only and just one per booking. If you plan to bring a dog there is a $100 fee . . . please be sure to check the box that you will be bringing a pet.

This house is amazing! So clean, great location, perfect for a large family and they allow dogs. I loved the little details such as full length mirrors in a couple of the rooms and a pet basket with sheets for furniture and towels for their paws. Highly recommend and hope to be back on another visit.

A quiet comfy stay in Asheville

We’ve been visiting Asheville for almost 20 years and really enjoyed our stay here. The neighborhood was quiet and in a good location for us. The beds & couches were comfy and the house had lots of space and amenities. Hosts gave us all the information we needed and were very responsive to messages. Can’t wait to come back!

Family surprise

Five family members, my husband and I traveled to Asheville to surprise my sister for her 70th birthday. We found the host to be easy to communicate with, the house clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend. The neighborhood was quiet and the location convenient to many of the places we wanted to visit. We would recommend this home to anyone wanting to visit Asheville. Nice family stay

We had a wonderful stay in Asheville and Dave's beautiful home was the cherry on top. Awesome living space, comfortable beds and neat landscaping. We really enjoyed the fire pit on a couple of chilly nights. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Asheville!

Perfect getaway, convenient location, plenty of space

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we will definitely be back! The house is set up very well for several adults to stay together. There’s plenty of space, the two living areas are great, and the bed in the master is incredibly comfortable.

Perfect for a girl's trip

We had a small group of four girlfriends for a few days in Asheville. The house was perfect for what we needed and very, very clean. The neighborhood is a few miles from most everything you would want to visit. We enjoyed the space and the privacy.

Destination wedding nest

A very nice property for all ages. Large open area downstairs for everyone to be together. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Even got ice cream from the ice cream truck.

Clean, Convenient, and Quiet

This house was exactly what we were looking for to spend a weekend meeting up with my sister, brother and sister in law. It was very convenient to Biltmore, Grove Park and downtown. The living space was open and large enough that we could all be together whether cooking, eating or just visiting. We would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect house and location

Our college friends weekend was awesome staying at David and Elyse’s house. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable for us. It had everything we needed and in a quiet neighborhood. Great space, perfect location

Really appreciated the layout of this home, attention to detail. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was spacious and the dining area was excellent for evening board games. ~10 minutes to downtown Asheville and convenient for day hikes. Appreciated the thoughtful amenities - including the kleenex boxes during allergy season and the kindling for the backyard fire pit. Thank you to the hosts of this property. We'll definitely stay here on our next Asheville trip.

Perfect stay for girls long weekend

8 of us stayed for a long weekend. The house was perfect for our needs - convenient location, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed exploring the outdoors during the day and chatting in the living room in front of the fire in the evening. We slept two per bedroom and it was nice to have the pullout sofa as an additional option (although we didn't use it). The host was very quick to respond to questions prior to our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Comforts of home!

Great house in a great location. Listing is very accurate. Exceptionally clean! This is a perfect choice in Asheville. A few in my party were concerned about the lack of window treatments in the main living area (as others have stated) this may be a concern to some but would not keep us from staying again. Very safe neighborhood. Overall excellent property and great communication with host.

Everything you need

We were in Asheville for 10 days to visit family. The house was very clean and had lots of space. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet and leafy. For those who like to cook at home, the pot selection might be limited, but we made it work and the grill was perfect. The only con is that due to the design of the house, it doesn’t get tons of light.

Wonderful roomy house with great yard!

It was roomier than we expected and very nice. The firepit was terrific and the neighborhood quiet. The only negative had nothing to do with the house itself. It was not possible to get an Uber or Lyft. They didn't even accept our requests, even if advance notice. The family staying downtown had no trouble with this so be prepared to drive and all will be wonderful!

Why they chose this property

In 2016 we set out to find the perfect lot on which to build a brand new vacation rental property. Being a general contractor allowed Dave to design a warm, cozy home and make it a reality. Construction took place through the Summer of 2016 and the finishing touches were done in September. We hope you love this home as much as we do!
