Walk to Beach: Dog-Friendly Myrtle Beach Cottage!

From the Owner: "Thank you for being great guests. We would love to have you back next year."

Hi Tina, we want our guests to relax when they stay with us, and we apologize if you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - While we cannot guarantee the availability of community amenities, we do understand that these amenities play a large role when guests book a property. We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors are simply out of our control. - The HOA that manages this community, does perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of the pools before the summer season. - Two other pools in the community were open for you to enjoy considering they do not perform maintenance on all of the pools at the same time.- We do recommend that guests verify if all community amenities will be available at the time of booking. We hope you keep us in mind for your future travels. We’d love to host you the next time you visit!

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for the cleanliness issues you encountered during your stay. We take this matter seriously and will be discussing it with our cleaning team to understand what went wrong. We will also reach out to you directly to acknowledge your concerns and gather any additional details. Please know that we are committed to addressing these issues and taking the necessary steps to prevent them from happening in the future. We're glad the property served its purpose during such a difficult time, and we appreciate your understanding.

From the owners: Hi Terri, thank you for leaving such a fantastic review, and we are so happy that you thought our cottage was so wonderful. We are extra vigilant about cleanliness and sanitizing everything because of the prevalence of covid, flu, and RSV this season. We apologize, for the strong smell, when you arrived, but our cleaners just left when you came in since we granted your request for an early check-in. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

Ian, Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We apologize that your experience with us here at Evolve was less than satisfactory. Our goal is to make vacation rental easy for everyone, and we're very sorry that we missed the mark. When you book through a partner site such as VRBO you deal with them for all of your needs such as billing and payments and communication. Thank you for stating that you did not have any problem with this property and that it deserves 4 to 5 stars in your opinion. This owner has a history of 5-star reviews and has had very many guests who have appreciated their stays and enjoyed their time at this property. They will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences they are known for.
