We are a family with 4 adults and one toddler. The home was perfect for us-the playroom upstairs, the pool, the outdoor playground were spaces that the child could visit over and over. The deck area is completely contained such that the baby could walk around and not leave the deck, which was great for us sitting outside enjoying the sunshine. Grand Lake had fun activities too-we went in a pedal boat, played on the beach, and did some shorter hikes with baby. Parents and baby took the main floor bedroom with the crib, grandmother on the second floor and aunt on the third floor gave everyone privacy and quiet. For more kids, there were several beds in the playroom but we didn't need them-yet! The house is spacious, upscale, clean, well-decorated, has all of the things you need in the kitchen and elsewhere, from the ouch box with first aid supplies to sunscreen and insect repellent to pool towels and plastic cups for outside. The grounds were lovely with aspens, flowers, benches and views over Grand Lake. The house is located between three trailheads making hiking easily available, even starting from the house. Even unusually nice touches like remote controlled fans, dimmer switches (for those seeking dimmer light, not for me), and the very cool shades and locking mechanism on the kitchen slider (the smallest things make an impression). The baby loved playing in the sand and walking around through the trees, and he danced to the music from the toys in the playroom.
