Wonderful Stay!

The house was perfect and family friendly. The space was clean and well appointed. Great access to downtown Truckee. Already bookmarked for our next trip to Tahoe!

Beautiful cabin, great location

We have been visiting Truckee for many years, renting cabins for both summer and winter stays, and the Alder Creek cabin has been by far the nicest we have experienced—spotless, sunny, and exceptionally well stocked. On this trip, I brought two horses, which I boarded at the TahoeDonner barn just a quarter mile down the road, with easy access to trails for both hiking and riding. We look forward to returning for many more stays at this wonderful cabin.

Perfect cabin for our winter break escape

The house was in a great location on a quiet street in Tahoe Donner. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make great meals after long days of snowboarding. The layout of the house was perfect with the master suite on the top level and the others bedrooms downstairs. We would definitely rent this property again!!

The perfect getaway house

We’ve been to Truckee countless times, and we’ve never experienced a house this CLEAN and well equipped. After a grueling 8 hour ride it was a relief to find a house with clean beds and no dust to be seen. The house also came with lots of activities such as sleds, board games, and video games. It was a joy to stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Great stay!

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful home and great location. Would just advise other guests that we were asked repeatedly by neighbors not to walk or play close to their properties. There are no fences and it was all covered in snow so hard to tell where one property ends and the other begins. Just a heads up.

Wonderful Place for a Winter Vacation

An amazing property, very well appointed as if for visiting friends. The kitchen had all the tools needed for our level of gourmet meals and the closets were stocked with plenty of new toys to keep our young kids interested. The sound and video systems were a breeze to use and a short walk got us to the cross country ski hill and with a quick drive we were on the ski slopes for 1st time children's lessons. We hope to return to this wonderful cabin.
