Always a pleasure staying at The Half Shell. This is my 3rd stay. Great location. Easy walk to beach. No steps! Great place to stay for older people and pets that do not want to run up and down steps to enter and exit.

This is our 2nd stay at Half Shell. We love the house and the short 1 block walk to the beach. The side roads are safe and quiet to walk our pups anytime. There are fantastic restaurants within a 10 minute drive. A Dairy Queen is within walking distance. Also, an Urgent Care is within a 2 minute drive. We plan on returning again as it is an ideal spot for us and our pets.-Leanne

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Perfect amount of space for two adults and two dogs. The walk to the beach was super easy, which we loved. Plenty of local restaurants and activities within walking distance or short drive! Overall a really nice, relaxing place to stay.

We liked this property for many reasons: location, price, cleanliness, decor, and dog friendliness. Unfortunately, we were not happy with the beds. Although the owners have bed toppers on the beds, we were not able to sleep well because the the beds were too soft for our preference. We have bad backs. Oh well.

The property is as described based on the listing. It’s a cozy beach bungalow ideally located in a friendly neighborhood, very close to the beach, and allows dogs! My husband, our two dogs, and I had ample room and very much enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely stay here again or another property owned by Ashley.
