The house was clean, cozy and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes, utensils, pots/pans you’ll need. Fridge is new and a decent size to load up all your groceries for the week.Lake is absolutely beautiful!!! The water was crystal clear and there was a nice, sandy entrance to go swimming. The fishing was amazing… bass, pickerel and even a crappie!Brian was a great host. There were no issues but I did have a couple of questions at the beginning of our stay and Brian was quick to respond.Would highly recommend this house!!

quiet lake getaway

very relaxing lakehouse, the screened in porch and outside deck overlooking the lake were perfect for a getaway from city life. brian, the host, is super friendly and accomodating, will hopefully stay next summer as well.

Peaceful Lake

The location on the lake was perfect. I loved the back deck, the screened in porch, the large grassy yard, the fire pit, the sandy entrance to get into the lake and more. The area was very quiet and relaxing.

Most relaxing vacation!

This was our 4th year staying at this property. We loved the improvements (new appliances, new 2 level deck, water trampoline). We had a relaxing time as always. Lots of time swimming, boating, and fishing. We always look forward to our week at the lake house and this year exceeded expectations. The beach was clean and the water was perfect.

Great spot for kids

Great spot to bring the kids for some time on the water - they loved the dock, watching boats go by, feeding the fish and swimming around. The screened in porch was our preferred spot to eat and hang out after a day of swimming. Living room is pretty big - plenty comfortable. The kids (7 and 5) loved their rooms. Host was responsive and welcoming. Great vacation away!

Relaxing week on the water

We enjoyed the water a lot, the kayaking was amazing. The porch was nice with lots of windows. We had a nice fireworks display from the neighbors on the 4th. Brian was great with communication throughout our stay, and promptly contacted us when there was a power outage and even offered us the opportunity to rent another night if it was available. Thanks for hosting us, Sandy, Patti and Char.

Amazing as always

This was our 3rd year renting here, and we plan to visit again next summer. The house is fully stocked with linens, kitchen items, etc. Just show up and enjoy. The beach is clean and the fish are plentiful. We had a great time fishing, swimming, boating, and most of all relaxing. Brian is a great host. He is always quick to respond to any questions. We look forward to returning next summer!

Beautiful location

Pierpoint Pond is a crystal clear beautiful gem. Small beach was wonderful for our grandchildren. The fishing is catch and release but my husband happily caught many fish from the dock and on the water. Everyone enjoyed the blue mat raft and the children’s kayaks but many of the other flotation devices were broken or dirty. The yard and water are shaded most of the day. The stairs to the back yard need to be replaced. The picnic table is extremely weathered. Each house you rent is an adjustment, but the living space, kitchen and porch were all very good. Master bedroom is extremely small with a king size bed. The room with the trundle bed also extremely small. The furniture in the room did not allow the trundle bed to be pulled all the way out. The third bedroom was good. We had a wonderful week The owner is nice. A book for the house and the area would be good and a contact phone number.

We had an awesome week at the cottage. The house was set up with everything needed. The kids loved the water mat, trampoline, and kayaks. The fishing was great. We caught many bass and saw a giant carp. The kids liked catching bluegill, crawfish, and baby catfish with nets near the dock. We had daily visits from a heron who we named Sharon. This cottage is our favorite summer relaxation spot, and we can't wait to visit again next year.

Terrific access to the water!

The house is great and well stocked. The yard to the beach is as advertised- the decent to this lovely kettle pond is very moderate in this spot.

Awesome getaway!

We stayed here for a second time and will be returning again next year. My kids love swimming from the private beach. They woke up every morning and fed fish from the dock. They has a blast catching frogs, crayfish, and bluegill. There is good fishing from the dock too. We caught lots of bass and catfish. The house has everything you need to just show up and relax.

Family Get Together

Peaceful, beautiful setting! Large porch with a water view great place to relax and enjoy meals. Lots of outside lakefront seating. Comfortable roomy living room with large screen TV. Great spot for our small family get together.

Great time

I grew up on this lake so it was fun to be back and see old friends. Cottage was great, kind of pricey for what you get, but we did love it and had a blast!
