Pearl of Destiny is a magical place to experience the wonderful community of Destin & the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. This home offers all of the luxuries you could want in a serene beach vacation, including a private pool (that can be heated for an additional fee) & courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a family dinner. There is a wine fridge & an additional icemaker to fill your ice chests for the beach. There is also an extra refrigerator in the laundry room. Two complimentary street legal electric golf carts with your stay will get you quickly to the sugar-white sands of the Gulf of Mexico to explore the shores, a 4 seater & 6 seater, as well as 4 bikes with helmets. If you need additional golf carts available for rent at discounted prices for our guests.

The Pearl of Destiny vacation rental home is elegantly decorated & thoughtfully designed to offer the most privacy & enjoyment of the guests. The master bedroom offers a luxurious king size bed & a master bath complete with dual vanities, an oversized walk-in shower, whirlpool tub, & a soaring ceiling with a skylight. There is also a twin sleeper chair. Upstairs, you will find three spacious bedrooms, two of which feature balconies with stunning views of the pool. Two bedrooms have a king size bed & the third is a bunk room, perfect for children! There is also a poolside guest house, which offers a master suite with a king size bed, a luxury bathroom, & a beverage center with a mini fridge & coffee maker. Every bedroom has a flat screen television. A ping pong table, games & puzzles provide some fun when not at the beach or out exploring Destin.

Destiny East is an exclusive gated community that offers several amenities including a clubhouse, 2 neighborhood pools, hot tub, fitness center, movie theater, tennis, basketball courts, BBQ area with outdoor kitchen, walking trails, & playground! The neighborhood is located on pedestrian and golf cart friendly Scenic 98. So you can walk down to the beach to catch a sunset or take a relaxing bike ride. Fabulous time in Destin

Our family vacation in Destin East was a huge hit with the entire family! Our proximity to the beach, the spacious living areas and built in pool were fabulous! We were slightly disappointed in the “tired” conditions in the property, not all of appliances worked properly and furniture was in less than ideal condition.

Pearl of Destiny

We thought the house was a perfect size for our group however it was lacking in a few amenities. There needs to be plastic glasses, etc. to utilize around the pool. Also, the door code had to be reset a few times because it stopped working. The pool person let us know there was a leak in the pool and the heat was inconsistent. The garage door stopped working at one point and maintenance had to come over. The curtains were falling down in the main floor bedroom. And painting wasn't complete in the guest house where curtain rods and towel rods were replaced. It worked ok for our group but I probably wouldn't rent this place again.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our stay the week of 10/6. The house worked perfect for us. My only two complaints are: One - the AC/temperature was monitored by smart box/phone & orprogrammed (could not adjust)to 72 degrees. We were all hot throughout the stay. We kept all windows, blinds, curtains and doors closed at all times. The only time the house was somewhat comfortable was from 4:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. Two - Not enough linens. My suggestions to others is to bring your own fans and more linens.

Excellent Home

This vacation home was a great pick. Everyone enjoyed it. The family room was huge and spacious enough for our party of 14. The golf carts that were provided had good speed to them. Lots of beach gear in garage in case anyone forgot theirs. Pool was small but nice for its size. Community pool and park was great but be sure to have your bracelet on. Overall a great vacation and the management were very helpful. The people with xplorie for the activities were great also and very accommodating. It was well stocked with dishes. Only a couple suggestions to make it an even greater place. Locks for some of the doors such as bathrooms. Large parties it would be nice to have a lock to prevent walk ins. Blackout shades for the bedroom windows. Luggage racks on golf carts to help take beach back and forth. Two trash cans for trash pickup

Beautiful Vacation Home

Home was clean, very well stocked, and had plenty of room for our party of 8. The master bed and bath are amazing and we were glad it was on the first floor so my 79 yr old mom did not have to use the steps. Upstairs bedrooms were okay but nothing special. The living room and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. We reported that the TV in the living room did not work (as many before us have) and a third party repair company did show up on the 3rd or 4th day to fix it. The pool is very small and dirty! We cleaned it daily but the filter could not keep up. I understand that this has been a problem for other guest as well. The location is not convenient to the beach so the old slow golf carts are a necessity. Rules for this house are excessive so allow time to read about everything you could be fined for upon arrival. We are not likely to rent this house again.

Nice house, Unlucky weather

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Host was responsive to the issues we did have. We did not get our chec-in code until well after 5pm and that's because we called. They INSISTED that they sent them all out to their guests by 130pm, like they INSISTED. I explained that we had not received ours....then he found the SYSTEM error and got us our code. Hot water barely worked in the guest house but they came and tried to fix it quickly. They left the cold water running while filling the pool...for hours. It was 68 outside, we paid a steep fee for a heated pool and could not even use it one of the days. They did come address that quickly. One of the golf carts was damaged when we checked in and they knew about it and came and fixed it. The other golf cart broke on first use due to worn grommets, windshield smashed but nobody got hurt. They were great once you called them, but to have all of these issues to begin with? It was just little headaches and inconveniences that we didn't expect.

Wonderful home and neighborhood

This was easy check in and we got early check in. The house is beautiful . There are a few small things that need fixed but overall wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable and it was very clean . The 2 golf carts were such a bonus we got a lot of use out of them. The neighborhood was beautiful . The pool was nice and the space was perfect for our family of 8. We brought my grandpa on his 90th birthday. Would deff stay again

The description doesn't mention all the things that are in the home. There's tons of beach chairs, 2 beach eagons, lots of toys for the sand, pool floats, beach mats, ect. There is a pack and play and several floor fans. You will need those. The homes only allows the air conditioner to be set at 72°. The main bedroom only has sheer curtains and gets very hot. The sheer curtains also allow tons of light in at night so be prepared for that. The pool house is also a great bonus. We were traveling with a baby, so the parents and baby stayed in the pool house so not to disrupt the others while sleeping. The golf carts are awesome for the area. There are several local restaurants and shops near by you can ride the carts to. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, laundry supplies and dishwasher pods. The host supplies you with the minimum. The kitchen is huge and has everything you could need.

Great location in beautiful neighborhood

Great house that allowed for multiple families to come together in living room kitchen and also have own space. Two golf carts made getting to beach easy . No better beach than Destin!

Nice Vacation Rental with lots of extras

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall I would describe our stay as pleasant. Its a nice rental and they provide ample items for the beach as well as two golf carts. The kids also loved the ping pong table. The only complaint was that the pool is on the small side and is alot smaller than it appears in the pictures. Besides that its a lovely property with plenty of space and is in a good area. The rental company was also super responsive to any issues.

Dangerous, Dirty and Not Recommend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife tripped over an improperly placed raised paver stone around the pool and sprained her wrist, multiple abrasions on knees, hands and face and caused a slight concussion with a black eye and pain around her orbital socket that has lasted for 3 weeks so far. The swimming pool is deceivingly small and turned our white swim suits and t-shirts green and 3 ladies in our family's blonde hair green. Many of the kitchen accessories were dirty and had to be washed before initial use. The neighborhood, golf carts and proximity to the beach are very nice. Jamie at Glass Casa was very nice to work with through the issues, but evidently the owners don't believe my wife's pain, due to their property negligence is worth even a partial refund...very sad for my wife!!!

The house is just what we wanted with plenty of space and everything we were looking for. The location to the beach and with the pool was perfect for everyone especially our little ones. The only note I would have for the owners is the second refrigerator for the second year in a row was not working well filling with water each day. Guests who look to enjoy this level of rental would expect everything to be working.That being said it is a lovely house with everything one is looking for. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

The home overall was ok. The guest house was not useable due to the moisture and associated smell. Communication with property manager was not great. One golf cart was broken and the governor on them are set below the speed limit on main roads.

Great home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved having our family in this home. Great location, great neighborhood, we liked the golf carts included and bikes. The only negative I would say is the home had some things that needed fixing. -the grill only worked on one side and took forever to grill for everyone-the fridge and freezer drawers were very difficult to roll in and out - the fridge in laundry room leaked - the mattress on the pull out sofa in master bedroom was horribly thinThose are easy fixes and would make it even better. Minor stuff but great space and it was good having the pool toys and beach supplies there. It would help to add to the listing what the house includes so guests know what they do and don’t need to bring. We would absolutely stay here again! Loved it!

Great space!

Our stay was amazing! We had 15 people total- 7 of which were children. The home itself had more space than expected and everyone was surprised at area of individual space/rooms/beds. However the best part was that there was large areas where we all could gather and spend time together. The house was located in a cul de sac on a quiet street. It was not far from the beach or from our favorite restaurant. The golf carts were great and provided a faster/easier/more fun way to get around.
