This place is right next to the volcano which makes it a great base for hikes etc. It's very quiet though in the middle of the rainforest. The house is spacious, clean and had everything we needed

Loved our visit. The VRBO was spacious with a lot of thoughtful touches. Great location for volcano and we got to see an eruption. Would love to return. Can’t think of anything that would have made it better except more time to enjoy the area. 😊

Hot tub was hot, house was clean, kitchen was open and well equipped and could accommodate multiple cooks, and best of all Kilauea was only about 2 miles away, and erupted (fountained) in USGS language, while we were driving into the parking lot closest to it. Once in a lifetime for us east coast people.
