From start to finish, it was an easy reservation. The owners were very responsive to every question we had. The house was clean and very spacious. We had 12 adults and we never felt crowded. The weather was bad so we didn't get to enjoy any of the outside of the house. We enjoyed the large table to play games on. It wasn't an issue for us but there are a lot of steps to get up to the house. We will be back there next year when we come up for an App State game.

The property was amazing, as well as the inside of the house. It was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens were plush. The house offered everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The Manager was wonderful to work with. The kitchen offered everything you needed to fix and prepare meals. We were a group of 8 and had plenty of space for everyone. This is a place we would definitely recommend and rent again! Thank you,Chrystal

House is large and comfortable. No whole house a/c but plenty of fans and two portable a/c units made it comfortable even on a very hot weekend! Kitchen well equipped, plenty of parking, beds are comfortable! Quiet setting, about 15 min to downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. Would stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay! It was a great size for a large group, super clean, comfortable, and had a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Our 5 cars easily fit, check in and check out were very easy, and it’s tucked away but still close to town.

We appreciate the positive review. Though we have some constructive feedback that we hope others will find helpful. Your booking was for 14 adults (our max capacity) and listed no children. But we found a wastebasket full of dirty diapers. Besides exceeding our max capacity, here's why it is important to list a correct headcount. God forbid there is ever any reason to call the fire department, but if we told the fire department there were only 14 people in the house and there were actually more, it could be catastrophic. In any case, when you want one or more additional guests to stay, please always make that request in advance, and ALWAYS list the correct number of adults and children. Our rules also state that all trash must be removed. Leaving poopy diapers violates that rule. Lastly, someone left a joint on the back porch. Since weed is illegal in North Carolina, we will not rent to you again.

The house was great and literally had everything we needed including laundry detergent. I would recommend telling travelers about the driveway incline especially during the winter. In the night drivers cannot seen the gravel driveway or frozen ice.

We had a great stay - the rooms were big, which was nice since we all had kiddos sleeping in rooms with us. The only thing that would have been nice was having some bigger pans for cooking since we were a pretty big group.

Great Stay

We had a great stay. The property manager had great communication, and everything was as advertised. We had plenty of space and enjoyed the quiet of the area, and close proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the surrounding area.

Large and well-appointed space

This was our second stay here for an annual gathering of old friends. A fantastic house with plenty of room, and a kitchen large enough to prepare some meals. A wonderful stay in the mountains.

The host was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay! The furniture in the living room could be updated and lots of steps to get inside the home you have to carry everything up all the steps can’t unload close to the house.
