Quintessential cottage nestled on the coast of Maine in a quiet fishing village. Welcome to the Seaside Cottage! Amazing views of the local harbor, nearby islands and the open ocean from its decks. The cottage is comfortable & charming, but rustic. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed. Located right across the street from "The Store", the heart of Basecamp offers daily coffee for $1, along with complementary newspaper reading on the "The Captains" & "The Cocktail" decks from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

We enjoyed our stay here. There is no AC so in the summer it can get hot inside. We ran fans 24/7 with windows open. I like to sleep in till 8am on vacations but this was not possible because of the bright sun in the morning in the bedroom. It was clean with only a few spiders but nothing bad. Everything was comfortable. Shower was small. Neighborhood was wonderful and such a peaceful location. Our first night was bad as it was very hot in the place and a water line had broken and we had no water. John was very accommodating the morning after we checked in by letting us use the bathroom at basecamp across the street. It was a good stay and we would go there again.
