Solana Resort in Davenport is one of the most popular gated communities for holiday makers to the Orlando Walt Disney World area. The resort has a clubhouse including convenience store, gym, crazy golf course and a tiki bar!


This very spacious 5 bedroom 4 bathroom has room for everyone! The family space is large and open plan with a well equipped kitchen for all of your self catering needs. It has a formal dining area, and a kitchen nook dining area, comfortable sofas in the living room to unwind and watch TV.

A pool table and air hockey table for the holiday games is available to you in the garage of the home along with a washer and dryer.

The pool area boasts a West facing pool deck with a good sized lanai to shade yourself from the day of sunshine should you need to escape the Florida sun. A large pool that can be heated upon request is the perfect way to spend the day with the family on a down day from the parks and all of Central Floridas attractions.

Walt Disney World is less than 15 miles from your front door at this house. You will also have with your reservation in this home free Wi-Fi and free local calls, as well as a washer and dryer in the home for your convenience.

Please note that with your home you have a private outside pool and spa. These can be heated but there is an additional charge for this option. This charge will be $27.50 per day (+taxes) with a minimum 5 day use. Please do make sure you request this service either at the time of your reservation or at the very least 72 hours prior to arrival so that it gives us an opportunity to have your pool and spa heated in time for your stay. We typically recommend pool heating for guests staying between the months of October and April.

Please note that charcoal grills are prohibited from use at our home but we can rent you a gas grill for your stay. Please enquire about costs for rental when you book the home.
Please also note that there are parking restrictions on this community. The driveway for this home accommodates 2 cars comfortably, there is a limit to 4 cars per household. If you have more than four cars, they must be parked outside the gated community. No unregistered, inoperable, commercial, bus, trailer, RV or boat is allowed. No parking on any grass, sidewalk or curbing. Parking pass must be visible at all times.

This is a self catering home so please be sure to stop by your nearest supermarket to purchase personal toiletries and desired meals. As per Florida State recommendations, we are not allowed to leave open food in the refrigerators or kitchen closets, hence all food items will be removed after a guest checks out and supplies of items such as condiments, sugar, salt and pepper, tea, coffee etc, will be not be provided prior to your check in. We will provide a starter roll of toilet paper at each toilet, a bin liner in each bin, hand soap in the bathrooms, as well as a dishwasher tab. Towels and linens are included in your stay.

Dissatisfied Disney Trip

The house was dirty upon entering. My kids found underwear from previous guests at the foot of their beds under the cover. When speaking with somebody about this all they said to do was “toss them”. Which is very disgusting. Thus, the sheets were dirty. They did send someone over to clean the return which was black and vacuum the floor. The toilets had not been cleaned on the inside. We paid for pool heating and it never worked but they did refund us for the extra costs. Very poor condition and would not recommend.

You Get What You Pay For - Dated, a little Tired, but a Spacious Space at the Right Price

Initially, I was surprised to find this house at such a low price relative to the others in the market. Upon arriving, we discovered why: 1.) The property was pretty worn - carpets, walls/paint, furniture, cabinets. 2.) The unit was not very clean - the carpets were filthy, we found a food wrapper in between the sheets of one of the beds, and there were crumbs/dirt/lint/hair behind nightstands/furniture and under beds. 3.) The decor was dated and didn't match the freshness of the advertised photos. 4.) The pool was cold (even though we paid for pool heating and gave over a week's notice to make sure it was warm upon arrival). 5.) The smoke detectors beeped in the middle of the night waking our kids and guests and the fire extinguisher in the kitchen was empty and needed to be recharged. With all those inconveniences, we had a wonderful time, and had most of our concerns addressed during our stay by the property manager. See details below: 1.) The carpets were REALLY dirty and the house did not smell good as a result. We requested the carpets be professionally cleaned and asked when that had last happened. Instead of answering my question, the PM scheduled a carpet cleaner. From looking at the carpets, it had been a very long time - way too long. Immediately the house smelled better and we felt ok about our little children playing on the floor. (Side note: the carpets were not only dirty, but they need to be replaced in the house. They look to be several years past their useful life and are threadbare in several places where the seams are exposed. 2. By the 3rd day of our stay, the pool eventually heated up. I know this may sound like no big deal, but after convincing my wife to let me rent a house for a month for our young family, (in the midst of Covid) and then driving 20 hrs from PA, arriving to find a cold pool for the first couple days was stressful. We were worried, "is this going to warm up? Did we pick the wrong house? Will they refund our money if the pool is cold?" And a bunch of other stressful thoughts. Thankfully it warmed up. 3.) Regarding smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, we contacted the property manager and they came out to the house within a couple of days. Not a big deal, but completely preventable if the PM performed preventative maintenance on the property. However, the maintenance guy was very nice, and addressed all of our concerns.

This is a nice property to rent, they could upgrade a few things like the missing pieces of some of the vertical blinds, the pool table didn’t have the rack for the balls overall it still is a nice rental.

Was really good the only things I will be more be carful the pool was a little Dirty , where ants in the rooms and bathroom, also we could take hot showers . But anything else was super great ! The place was so big ,really secure. The neighborhood was calm you have a playground there if you taking some kids with you

Extended Family Stay

Comfortable house as described in listing. Management co very responsive, broken light switch quickly fixed and a small suggestion of something house could use (laundry basket) was dropped off within a few days. We did purchase and leave some utensils and a working can opener. Pool/hot tub were cool and not useable first few days. It had been colder outside right before arrival and according to manual in house, heat does not go on if outside temp is under 55 degrees. Close to restaurants and Walt Disney World, but development is right off 3 lane state road. We could hear some noise when out at the pool, even though over several streets in the development. If not use to more populated area it could be bothersome. Family loved spending time in the game room even on their own games they brought down. Residential and vacation homes in development. We were there for 5 weeks and barely heard any noise from others in neighborhood.

Nice location

The house was exactly what was shown on the site. We did have issues with the heated pool . I contacted them about it and they sent some one over right away . Got the hot tub going .. but not the pool . We were only there for 4 days .. so by the time they turned on the heated pool , it was too late . It should’ve been done days before. Since I paid an extra $150 for it . We did not enjoy the pool at all . But We also went in a time where the temperature was a bit colder then we are used to for Florida. Coming from a much colder place . We were really looking forward to enjoying some pool time. Over all the house was great and roomy and had all we needed. They could of cleaned a little better . Some of the bathrooms had trash and not throughly cleaned . House is in a great location. Close enough to restaurants and attractions.
