The property was great - clean, easy check-in / check-out, great communications. The rooms were good for our four person family and the location was great for cruising around Red River Gorge - never more than 30 min to any hike. Also, felt very secluded - we could see other cabins, but barely, and rarely, if ever, heard others. Firepit was nice. Hot tub felt clean.I'd say the one improvement area would be putting some essentials in the kitchen - i.e. some tin foil, maybe some cooking oil, some better cooking utensils. We love to cook at VRBOs and usually can expect more than just salt and pepper on-hand.

the view was gorgeous, the cabin layout and ameneties were great as well. It was a shame however that this was tainted by the cleanleness of the cabin. I do I understand we are staying in a cabin and it is more rustic. However we found lots of mouse droppings and hair tumbleweeds (from I am guessing a dog that stayed previously).

Thank you for your feedback 🙏💙 We’re really glad you enjoyed the gorgeous view, layout, and amenities — but I truly apologize that the cleanliness fell short. That’s absolutely not acceptable, even in a rustic cabin setting, and I’m sorry you encountered mouse droppings and leftover pet hair. We’ve already passed this directly to our cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure a deeper, more thorough cleaning standard moving forward 🧼🔧 We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’d love the chance to deliver a fully 10/10 experience in the future 💛
