Great potential

Weather conditions aside... it was a lovely location close to highway target and grocery stores... the house had great potential but fell by the waistside... the water heater was out dated and hot water was lacking... some of the tiles were destroyed.. dining room chairs were broken.. dishwasher wobbly... and you cld tell a party was had before our stay...just ALOT of TLC needed to be had. Owner was very nice and checked on us multiple times her husband even came to fix some things for us...

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - Unfortunately, during your trip, Houston experienced a national weather emergency and had one of its worst winter storms, which caused the issue with the water heater. - Your safety was the owner's main priority, and they made every effort to ensure your group was safe and comfortable during the storm. - It is an older home full of character and charm, but that does lead to some wear and tear over the years, such as a small crack in the tile. - The owners can confirm that the dining room chairs are not broken. - The waste management company was unable to pick up the trash due to the weather. This is why there was trash left in the garbage bins. - We hope the owner's accomodating an early check-in made up for some of the inconvenience. The owners truly go above and beyond to provide a positive stay for their guests, and we look forward to this home hosting many great stays!
