This property is absolutely beautiful. Very private with gorgeous views and pristine creek. Very few mosquito's which was awesome! Great stay, and highly recommend.
PERFECTION IN ALL ASPECTS SAYS IT ALL !!!!!
PEACEFUL
WONDERFUL VIEW OF RIVER FROM DECK
COMFORTABLE ROOMS WITH 3 BATHROOMS !!!
CLOSE TO TOWN AND ACTIVITIES.
Trip with two life-long friends for a fishing weekend. Three bedrooms with three full bathrooms was real convenient. The Baldwin River was closed for fishing, but the river was full of salmon. Saw deer everyday. Short drive to places to eat. We would definitely book this place again.
It was a home away from life...allowed us to connect deeply and escape all the stresses. You definitely felt God's hand in all of the natural beauty. We will go back again!
This a beautiful place to stay to soak up the nature. There was also plenty of space for the 5 of us. of us. Check in was a breeze and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 10:00am checkout combined with having to take the garbage down the road to the dumpster was a bit of a drag, but we survived lol.
Every year, five of us girls visit our hometown of Baldwin during alumni weekend. Each year we do something a little different for where we stay. We get wiser each year and this year we stayed at this lovely home! It was PERFECT for our needs. The location, the multiple bathrooms, the outdoors, everything was exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t need anything!
Be mindful there is no central air it seems but there is a window air conditioner in the top bedroom. It wasn’t a big deal for us but it could be a little warm during a very hot stay. We were able to cook everything we needed to in the very well stocked kitchen. Even though I brought some utensils from home, I found I didn’t need them. Sharp knives ya-ll! So important.
There was plenty of soap, clean towels, and dishwasher detergent. We also appreciated having a propane grill (with propane!). We had no issues with cell service here but Wi-Fi was available and we had no issues with service. Some of us frequently have to work a few hours (ugh!) so it was nice to have reasonable internet to do this.
Now that we know what to expect, we plan to stay here again next year because it was plenty of room and remote enough to be private but close enough to town we didn’t have to go far to see old friends, canoe, and work the annual Troutarama!
Thanks for a great stay!!

Exeptional!
It was wonderful. The home was on the river and there were lights outside that highlighted the beauty at night. The interior was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We felt at home and couldn't ask for a cozier, better experience. Highly recommended!
Our family stayed at the property to relax and ride ORV trails. It was easy access to the trails, and the property was wonderful to hang out and relax! House was clean with plenty of open area in kitchen and living room.
Being on the water was fun to watch all of the fish swimming. Deck was large, but railing was not ideal for small children. Yard was large and provided plenty of space to walk and play outdoor games.
Highly recommend!
The property was as described. We loved the wrap around deck, the creek flowing along the exterior deck. The beds left a lot to be desired in the first floor bedroom. They were separated bunks without much support for comfortable sleeping.
This wonderful home was great for our outside sports family. Fall fishing for salmon with fly rods is always great and was a once in a lifetime success for our 17 yr old grandson. An experience he will never forget, and to be able to come home to such a great home with all the amenities made it even greater.Just sitting on the deck and watching the river was perfect for my wife who enjoyed the kitchen with a view and ease of preparing meals for tired fisherman. I woke up in the middle of the night so comfortable I thought I was at our own home.
What a beautiful cabin. It was very clean. The three rooms with three full baths made It perfect for us and two other couples. The location was also great. We spent most of our time enjoying the view from the deck.
The home was perfectly designed for 3 couples. We each had our own bedroom, bathroom and floor. Perched directly above the Baldwin River, deep in the woods (like 2 miles off of a paved road but on a well maintained dirt road), the property was large, well tended and peaceful. Made for a wonderful stay.
Fantastic home and property located on one of Michigan's best scenic rivers. The passing of morning into evenings provides a unique view to the natural environment many of us treasure. Great kitchen and living room accommodations together with a wide deck provides guests with ample opportunity for privacy and great views to the outside. We cannot say enough positive about this home other than we hope we can return in the future.
