Outside, there are 2 terraces and a private bedroom patio all facing the views of the sea, with dining tables, chairs and loungers above lush gardens treed with olive, cork oak and our coastal oaks with artistic pots spilling foliage. Enjoy our newly added pool, pergola and seperate lounger spa.
Chill with a vista of the snow capped Alps seen high above San Raphael in the distance or the boats anchored in the bay below.
4 Restaurants and a grocers are steps away by road or through the wide garden pathway from the center of our cul de sac. Plus a mini golf for the kids at the entrance to our cul de sac, just before the chapel. The famous St. Tropez is 30 min.. Nice 50 min., Cannes 40, Ste. Maxime 12. Nearby at the San Peire harbor you can take the water taxi to Port Grimaud, Sainte Maxime and St. Tropez and skip the long lines of cars mid summer. Our local village of San Peire is just 5 min. and has a long sandy beach with bathrooms and outdoor shower and the main street is lined with brasseries, cafes, ibakeries ce cream shops, beach supplies and bakeries. Market day there is Monday at 9 and not to be missed.
Medieval walled hilltop villages are a wonder, the nearby Chateaux Grimaud an historic ruin in the center of that charming village, just 20 min, away. The lovely Port Grimaud with its many canals and boat rentals is utterly charming and called a mini Venice. Always a favorite to explore is St. Tropez, and its beaches and variety of wineries to discover all about. Frejus in the other direction was founded by Julius Caesar and the ruined Roman theatre is in the center of town, with a park nearby with large sections of aquaducts. The medieval section of town is still surrounded by its thick stone wall and has a lovely cathedral to explore. The long, sandy beach has life guards and across the blvd. are shope, cafes galore.
There is so much to see and do!

About the host
Hosted by Michael

Since retiring, Michael and Janice live at their private island home, Honey Bee Island, in Canada’s 1,000 Islands during the summer months and then fly to their primary residence on the Central Coast of California above Pismo Beach and spend the winter there. In the spring they return to their villa on the French Riviera. They love to travel! Janice was a dental hygienist while Michael’s vocation was to spend 30 years in prison…eh, administration.
Their avocation was to develop and perform a full evening magic stage show in a theater built for it. They retired after raising their 5 children but instead of downsizing, they chose to 'up size' and experience as many adventures as they could. Michael tackles any household DIY task that Janice thinks up and so their homes are rich in detail and in character to the region they are living in. He loves to play with his amphibious airplane while Janice prefers to paint and read on terra firma.

Why they chose this property
We have renovated this villa over the past 5 years and continue to make yearly improvements.
What makes this property unique
The sea views and view of the Alps are breathtaking. The gorgeous pool and spa are a real plus. The gardens are very private in our triple lot in the cul de sac with no through traffic and the sea below. On top of the sea, three beaches are just minutes by foot. Restaurants are nearby as well and take away pizza a 2 minute walk next to a mini golf and just above one of the nearby beaches. All is at hand by foot or by car. The weekly markets are a must for fresh produce and fun shopping, Our nearby San Peire's market day is Monday. Hilltop medieval villages ring the area, and the vineyards below them are a must see and do for wine tasting at its finest. For families, water parks in Frejus or Ste. Maxime as well. The Roman ruins in Frejus include a theatre and arena as well as a park where aqueducts march across the woodland there. The Riviera is a play land and we are at the center of it with St. Tropez a half hour drive away and Nice an hour, with Cannes in-between.
