Wonderful spot
Family including kids and grandpa stayed for several nights. Lake is quiet and gorgeous. House absolutely perfect- everything you would need in kitchen.
This cottage was very clean and well equipped. I really enjoyed the inside of the property which was newly renovated. There were plenty of places to sleep. The Internet works great if you were in the cabin, but not by the water. There is no cellular service although there is a hard line to call out in the event of an emergency. It’s a short walk down to the path to get to the water and you have to walk through the owners property. . Also, they had an animal repellent device which scared our dog and she wouldn’t go down to the water the rest of the week. The lake is beautiful tons of nature and very calm for kayaking and canoeing. Swimming is a bit difficult and there are leeches in the water but I guess that’s to be expected. The properties around the lake are very quaint and well kept. It was the most quiet, serene, and peaceful place. At night, you can go out on the dock and star gaze. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We enjoyed our week!

Lupine Lodge
My family loved Lupine Lodge on Loon Lake. We spent a lot of time on the lake swimming and paddling and just enjoying the quietness of this special place. Lupine Lodge was comfortable and easy, and accommodated a two year old and a dog easily. The spacious deck allowed us to spread out and come together which we appreciated. Thumbs up!

We loved this spot!
Loved this spot! Our kiddos enjoyed reading lots of books and we all did a lot of swimming.Loon Lake is good for swimming, and quieter than rangeley lake itself without the motor boats. Enjoyed being close enough to town but also very peaceful. We saw one moose adult with calf on the road mid afternoon one day!!! Hope to return same time next year!
Cabin is wonderfully renovated with modern conveniences while fully embracing the "get away from it all" theme. Property was super clean and easy communication with in-town property manager. Fantastic master bedroom and perfect kitchen and sitting area for meals, table games and just disconnecting from it all. Dock with adirondack chairs was peaceful. Loon Lake is perfect by itself, but the supplied 2 kayaks made it even better. Owner is fantastic. Hope to return soon. 5 stars!!

The house was well appointed and comfortable as advertised. My only disappointment was that the lake access was across a road and down the side of another property. I viewed this property on VRBO initially and thought the lake access was off the cabin property. I am now aware that on the Morton and Furbish site that the lake access is more clearly described. In addition we had 4 guests in total and the dock had room only for two.
That being said, the lake and surrounding area of Rangeley did not dissapoint.
We love this cabin which is very comfortable for 2-4. The location is beautiful, and shares access to the small lake/pond, just steps away. Be aware that the master bedroom and only king-size bed is up, what for some, could be a steep set of stairs BUT the only bathroom is downstairs. The two bedrooms downstairs by the bath have bunkbeds in one and twin beds in the other. Still we loved the location and being at the cabin. Service from the property managers was excellent. Couldn't have asked for more.

Exactly as described
If your looking for a peaceful vacation in a stunning cabin in the woods then you will love this place. Sitting on the dock over looking the lake or just chilling on the deck at the cabin in so relaxing. We will definitely be coming back.
