We loved this place! We were the only people on the lake all weekend and the wood fired sauna beside it is amazing. Michael was about the best host we've ever had.

When guests first questions are about the sauna, one knows they are the right people for this little spot on the lake. Thanks for staying at TaigaTooth. ‘ look forward to seeing you all on your next expedition to Talkeetna!

It was difficult to find. The advertised description and photos were misleading.
Michael is a very nice host. The front part of his cabin was open for showers, flush toilet, sink to wash dishes, and a washer/dryer. There was plenty of chopped firewood to burn to keep warm.
this place is truly special-- a small rustic cabin steps away from a beautiful lake. Mykl is a wonderful host, kind and welcoming and fun to talk with. the value is outstanding, especially since Mykl includes use of bikes and a kayak with the cabin.
Such a great place! We absolutely loved the dock and sitting on there reading late into the evening. Lots of birds and small fish to enjoy watching. The cabin is exactly as pictured. Very clean and thoughtfully put together. An especially great place for anyone interested in sustainable furniture design. The cabin was full of great pieces and thoughtful touches.

Cabin is just as described. Beautiful location. Cabin is well stocked with all necessities.
Cozy winter spot to stay! We imagine it's great in summer too. Michael was an excellent host who had the fire going when we arrived and gave us great, local food recommendations. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Ski trails around the lake(s) are accessible from the front door!

Thanks for visiting, Nicole. Come back and visit this Summer. You folks would enjoy the hike out to our campsite on Possum Creek. Mosquitoes will be waiting!

Very eclectic cabin nestled in the woods off Christiansen lake. Love this cabin! It has all the amenities and even a sauna (although we didn't use it). Definitely would love to come back again.

Sorry you didn’t get to use the sauna. In our brief days of Alaskan Summer, there is a hot shower next to it, or one may hop in the lake. Of course, that time of year, one must factor in the mosquitoes. They are so much less a bother in February.
Thanks for visiting!
What a fun little cabin! If you want a plush location this isn't it although the beds are extremely comfy. It was fun to rough it for ours girls adventure weekend. Michael is a great and very friendly host and we loved chatting with him and hearing about some of his adventures in life.
We'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.
