You will never get a better view or have a better beach. Do yourself a favor and go to the beach after the sun has gone down with a flashlight or headlamp and watch the crabs run all around there will never be a better view or a better beach. The house was very comfortable, and the host was the sweetest! we will be back.

We loved our stay. The only thing missing was the beach access. There is a rope the last 6 feet before the beach that goes straight down almost. Perhaps a rope ladder would be better in order to make climbing back up easier.

The home was a wonderful place to stay. The views were amazing and it was a nice quiet spot. The trail going down to the beach was magical and a bit adventurous! The kids loved it!

Absolutely beautiful view from the house and deck. With a private trail to the beach, we had the whole stretch of beach to ourselves. We enjoyed the tide pools and agate hunting!

This place was absolutely filthy, needs painted, is run down, has an alarming chemical odor that we could not get rid of. My daughter found the basement scary - mold in the bathroom - and chose to sleep upstairs. So we paid for a 3 bedroom, used 2. This house needs work before it should be rented out. I have rented numerous vacation rentals and this was, by FAR, the worst place we've ever stayed. It is absolutely not worth the money and I am sick thay we were stuck there for 4 days. I have pictures if you don't have access to the house.

When you drive up to the house it doesnt seem like much but then you enter. The views of the ocean were beyond amazing. The house was spacious but still had a warm and cozy feeling to it. The trail to the beach was like going on a mini adventure and ending at your own private beach. Our host was very pleasant. We would definitely use this rental again in the future.

This home is in a stunning location, in a safe, clean neighborhood, and has direct beach access. The beach views made the whole stay enjoyable and worth it. The house itself is significantly older and more run-down than the pictures suggest. The path to the beach is also only accessible to more adventurous and fit people -- there were broken stairs, muddy (and potentially slippery) steps, and a brief steep hill with a rope to guide you down. We were able to navigate it well and enjoy the beach, but it could have been a problem if there were any mobility issues, young children, or older guests.

We had an amazing stay! The moment we walked through the front door, we knew we were in for a treat. The huge windows framed the sunny sky and ocean perfectly, and we couldn’t stop admiring the view. We had only been there about an hour before heading down to the beach.I’d read a review saying the trail wasn’t for the faint of heart, but honestly, if you have average mobility, it’s an easy, well-maintained, and beautiful walk. Beach access was one of our favorite parts of the trip.Communication with the property manager was excellent, and getting into the house was simple and hassle-free.The location was perfect for exploring. We hiked Indian Sands and Seal Cove, then drove into California to hike the Boy Scout Tree Trail among the incredible giant redwoods. We also spent a day salmon fishing with Brookings Fishing Charters and had great luck.The house had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the beds were comfortable.For constructive feedback, I’d rate the cleanliness about a 7/10. There was some dust, cobwebs on a couple of bedroom windows, and neither vacuum worked very well. Since the view is such a highlight, we bought window cleaner and cleaned the exterior windows because a film on the glass dulled the amazing ocean view.Overall, the incredible views, beach access, and location made this a wonderful place to stay, and we’d happily return!

What a View!!!

We loved the view from this house and wished we could have stayed longer to witness more sunsets! The walk to the beach was a hike, but it was worth the trip.
