The location was fantastic, there was so much to do in and around the resort. The room itself was exactly as described and we were very happy with our stay. If we're ever back in the area we will definitely look to stay here again!

We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the ocean from our balcony every morning and taking walks on the beach. The area has many restaurants nearby and is quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

March at the Beach

Room was very nice. In fact it was better than it appeared in photos. Easy parking, elevator to room was quick and never had to wait more than a few seconds. Bathroom was very nice. The bed was large but was a little too soft for our liking.

Beautiful condo

My husband and I really loved this condo. It had a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony. This is an upscale condo with all the extra touches, for example the quality of towels and toiletries. We could tell the owner really wants the guests to feel comfortable and have a nice stay. The condo was also incredibly clean. We had a very nice time and would definitely rent it again.

Thank you did the nice getaway!

The place was perfect for the getaway that we needed but I wish the host would have been able to communicate with us more effectively. We were missing trash bags and weren't sure about the beach towel and chair situation. But we will definitely save this spot for a future couples get away.

A place to sleep and shower

Property located on a resort property but no access to any amenities! You can not eat in any dining facilit, swim in any pool or sit on the beach and order a drink. Only a place to lay your head! I would not suggest stay in owner property at this resort again!

Lovely accommodations and area to visit!

Lovely & pretty, enjoyable accommodations. The bed was very comfortable & sheets very nice. The bath tub was dusty & had to be cleaned. Poor quality toilet paper, not enough. Soap bars for bathing were 2 small & difficult to use. Dinnerware, glasses & cups were old & stained. Hard to use appliances, so didn't, but we loved the place and the area!

Sandra, thank you for staying with us. We are sorry that you experienced some issues that had a negative impact on your stay. - We apologize for the lack of cleanliness. We have the home professionally cleaned in between each guest's stay, however, things were missed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will be reaching out to our team to set forth better cleaning practices. - We are sorry the amenities were lacking and weren't readily available to you during your stay. We will be sure to better maintain our amenities by double-checking the home prior to guests' arrival and we will purchase a better brand of toilet paper. - We had no knowledge of any stained dishes in the home however, we apologize and we've corrected this issue by ordering new dinnerware for the next guest visit. - We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the location and comfort of our home! We appreciate your feedback as it has helped us to see the areas in our home that need more attention.

Evolve problems

Beware. Another problem, you book through vrbo and property managed by evolve, you cancel, a rebooking can only be used for evolve properties. The issue is evolve has very limited properties to book.

The unit was as pictured with excellent views and a nice resort area but there were drawbacks. The carpet needs to be replaced. It was dirty and frayed. The bed was uncomfortable with simply a foam mattress and the couch sat too low for an elderly couple to get in and out of.

Hi Phillip, we passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We do our very best to uphold high standards of hospitality for our property and provide all of our guests with an exceptional experience. Thank you for sharing your positive insights on the views and the area!- We've recently had the carpet professionally cleaned, but we recognize that it needs replacing soon. In the meantime, we've added a new runner to cover the frayed area. - Regarding the mattress, we've placed a foam topper on it for added comfort, although it's not a foam mattress. We understand that comfort preferences vary, and we're sorry that it didn't meet your expectations.- The sofa was a recent addition to our home. We genuinely apologize if this affected your comfort during your stay. We didn't consider the height factor when choosing this sofa initially but we'll certainly take your feedback into account for future improvements. We truly do all we can to make our home the best possible experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Our stay

The condo was nice, exactly as it looks on listing. Our only issue was that when we tried to book a t-time for the beautiful Hammock Beach golf course (on resort) we were told we had no access to the amenities because we did not book through the resort. Turns out we had NO access to ANY resort amenities. Our bad for not asking before booking, as nothing is mentioned of these things- golf, pool, lazy river etc on the listing. Just disappointed we couldn’t even use the pool. I think this little “disclaimer “ should be mentioned as im sure we’re not the first to think we could have access to resort amenities.

Where to begin?

Hammock Beach is an amazing location! It is unfortunate that this suite has not been maintained. Bathroom was clean; Bed is a sponge topper on a bed frame; the decor is unkempt and needs to be redone (owner says they do house flipping - they need to flip this suite). I attempted to communicate with owner at least a week before and never got a response. Just an automated text message. I am disappointed that VRBO has this listing - it doesn't meet their standards. With a bit of paint, spackle for the many nail holes, and new flooring, this has a great view and location for a nice stay. I had no option since it was paid for- to make it work. Don't stay here unless they do a complete remodel. There are other options in this same location.

Hi Becky, thank you for sharing your experience at our Hammock Beach condo. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the following:- We apologize for the lack of communication. My assistant is supposed to text each guest before check-in, and I'll ensure this process is followed more diligently in the future.- We have plans to remodel the condo as soon as our other projects allow.Once again, thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
