Kim's Palm Cottage is a one story 3 bedrooms, 2 baths home with a heated pool in the sought-after Village Green neighborhood in Bradenton. This cozy ranch style home sleeps 6 comfortably and is only a short ride away from the white sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island.
The home has a split floor plan. The main bedroom has a king suite with a shower, the first guest bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds, they share a bathroom that has a tub/shower combo. Kim's Palm Cottage is ideal for families, it offers a highchair, baby travel crib and board games for a rainy day spent indoors.

Living room, master and queen bedrooms are equipped with TV's. This property has a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances for making your kitchen time a breeze. Coffee lovers can choose from the auto drip or Keurig coffee machine.

The private heated pool invites for a swim, loungers for sun bathing and the barbecue grill is perfect for outdoor dining and socializing. Linens, towels, beach chairs, beach towels, free Wi-Fi and much more is all provided for a sorrow free vacation. In the quiet Village Green neighborhood you are close to everything: to the beaches of Anna Maria Island, great golf courses, shopping, restaurants, bars, etc.
Dogs are welcome. Pet fee is $200 per pet plus taxes, maximum of 2 pets unless otherwise approved by FDR.

* Cancellation more than 90 days prior to arrival will receive a deposit refund less a $250 cancellation fee. Cancellation less than 90 days prior to arrival will forfeit all deposit received. Cancellation less than 60 days prior to arrival will forfeit all monies on account. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing.

Perfect Spring Break!

We had such a great time during our week in Florida! Place was perfect for us- great location - only 10 minutes to the Beach with no traffic ;) and the heated pool was exactly what we needed with young kids!

The location is excellent – just a short drive to the stunning beaches of Anna Maria Island, perfect for relaxed island vibes and gorgeous sunsets.The house offers three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and classic American-style furnishings. Everything we needed was provided: a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and linens. The owners clearly put heart into it – lovely personal touches and decorations made it feel warm and welcoming.While not brand new or ultra-modern, the house is very well-maintained, clean and full of charm. We felt right at home immediately and enjoyed our vacation tremendously.Thank you to the hosts for the great communication and hospitality – we’d love to come back! Nice clean house and neighborhood. Comfortable furniture with all the kitchen necessities, but property would have benefited with a walk through before we arrived. Pool water level was low so pool heater was short cycling, lost most of a week of pool use due to cold water. Numerous light bulbs bad in kitchen and entry. Would rent again, better than average listing.

Very nice rental house

Our family really enjoyed this rental vacation home and was very close to beaches, shops, restaurants, etc. Very relaxing and enjoyed hanging out poolside when not out venturing AMI area. We had one issue during our stay - the clothes dryer did not produce any heat to dry our clothes. We packed for the trip knowing we had a washer and dryer and this created some frustrations as we had to run the dryer on air fluff for 3-4 cycles to get 1 load of clothes dried or hang them out on patio or closets. Overall, great place! Wish the management company would have gotten the dryer fixed within 24-48 hours of our stay, but was not addressed for our whole stay.

Perfect! Everything you need!

The house was very clean, spacious, well equipped, beautifully decorated and furnished. The property management company was friendly and provided excellent customer service. The owners have really thought of everything, including pool toys for the kids, floats, beach chairs, umbrellas and even provided a beach cooler. The current pictures don't do it justice. The neighborhood is beautiful and quite. No heavy traffic and the grocery store was a short drive from the property. The pool was very nice and clean. The outdoor area provided a tranquil atmosphere, we spent most of our evenings by the pool. Anna Maria Island and Coastline Excursions are also a short drive from the property and we absolutely loved exploring Anna Maria Island and snorkeling in the emerald waters of Anna Maria and Egmont Key. We got to see a lot of marine life, dwarf seahorses, sand dollars, star fish, manatees and dolphins. We have stayed at a couple of VRBO's but this one is one of the BEST! We will be back!!

This property is in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is close to many stores. The home is smaller than what it appears in the pictures, but the decor is very cute. There are ample amounts of dishes/cookware available, but the pans are old and food was sticking to them. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, but the beds in the other two rooms were cheap, hard, and squeaked whenever you moved. The pool was small and dated and did not stay warm during our stay (although the weather was very cool). There were also issues with some of the electrical outlets prior to our arrival and we were provided with extension cords to plug in the living room lamps. There was also an odor of wet dirt coming from the water in the home, but we were advised from the property manager that the smell would improve with more use, as the house had been sitting empty for a few weeks. Also, you are expected to supply your own trash bags, dish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. They provide a “starter kit”, but if you’re staying longer than 4 or 5 days, you’ll need to buy your own. I’d rather pay extra money and have those supplies available for me to use, as needed, then going out and purchasing my own. We had to purchase more than what we’d ever use while we’re there, which is just wasteful. Overall, the stay was decent and the property manager was friendly and responded quickly.

Loved the property manager - spoke with a very nice lady to place deposit and she was so helpful to learn about the area. Easy entrance to property. Loved the layout of property and having beach accessories despite being quite old. We really appreciated them. Property is not updated if that’s important to you. We appreciate function and cleanliness over luxury finishes. Would have appreciated more paper products considering price point. Bikes would make properly even more valuable. Pool pics made it look larger than actually is. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Felt very comfortable and we walked every morning, saying hello to many friendly neighbors. Appreciated multiple televisions to watch different things at night and grill. Would stay again - provided all that our family of six needed. We were thankful for the opportunity!

Beautiful area

Had some issues, but property management tried for the most part to fix it quickly. There is definitely problems with the pool and hopefully this will be fixed. The house was better than we expected.

We enjoyed the house and pool but there are some things that need to be addressed

The property manager that we spoke to was always friendly and helpful but there are some things that could be cleaned and changed for the comfort and safety of the renters we had to ask to have the pool area sprayed for spiders as there were a lot of them also the rugs used in the house by doors were terrible just tripping hazards they need to be runners with a good non slip backing also ALL beds need mattress covers for the protection of anyone who sleeps on them also the outside of the house needs to be cleaned and some attention to the yard area

Home sweet home!

This property was just perfect for my family. We like that the house is tucked away in a very cozy neighborhood and is exactly where we'd choose to live in Bradenton. Having Beach supplies was a plus so we added to the collection!! I will definitely be back.

Reviewer Comments: over all it was ok due to great location but for staying for 3 weeks with over $5000 price it was not the best rental experience we had. It felt every thing was put in placed with cheapest setup. TV was difficult to use due to terrible cable setup, broken down dangerous furniture and flea infestation and we have to wash linen and conmforter to prevent alergy flare up. TV remote did not work in two out of three rooms. For 3 weeks we are provided only few toilet paper. Pool side was spider web infested and dirty and pool side storage was nasty.

Could’ve been better

Upon arriving late in the evening, we immediately noticed the couches were so soiled we didn’t feel comfortable sitting on them. The property manager came by next day to examine and made arrangements for the maintenance guy to come the following day, to spot clean the couch cushions, they also smelled. He chose to clean the area rug as well and it was so filthy the water came black. The chintzy supplies were quite embarrassing. The tiny bars of soap were so small it was a waste for them to even be packaged, really? There was one extra roll of the cheapest toilet paper, one very small roll of the cheapest paper towel, two dish washing pods for the dishwasher, one of which we were reminded to use to clean the dishes before we left so the cleaning people didn’t have to. There was ONE extra trash bag and all the trash cans were dirty inside Trash day notification needed to be updated as we read to put them out on a day that didn’t get picked up, needs to be corrected, and get this, you can’t put it out the night before.....what? Although we paid a cleaning fee we were asked to remove the linens, & wash, put away all the dishes, ok no problem but maybe we should share the cleaning fee since I had to clean before we could comfortably enjoy this place. The comforters were not clean, I recommend taking them completely off the bed before use! The bathroom mats were so dirty I had to put them in the wash before we could use them. The quantity and the quality of the items stocked did not match the cost of the rental, not to mention the low supply of towels for four people. The dryer was full of pet hair, and the pillows were stained, thank God we brought our own! We were aware 10:00 is the check out time, but the cleaning lady sat in front our place one hour and fifteen minutes before check out. The staff does not call when they say they’re going to. We know of other that rentals offer some sort of cancellation policy and payment plan, however this place required full payment at the time of booking with absolutely no options to cancel. They weren’t clean or good enough to require that for sure! Needless to say we do not recommend Florida Dreams rental nor will we ever book with them again.

Hi Lisa, We appreciate you leaving a review although very surprised to see such a negative one. FDR team felt that we took care of the couch and rugs (that were soiled from the previous guest) in a timely manner. In regards to the disposables provided: FDR homes all provide a fully stocked kitchen and all linens. We also provide a few beach chairs, beach towels & a cart. For your convenience we will leave a “starter kit” with a paper towel roll, 1-2 toilet paper rolls & a small bar of soap in each bathroom, a trash bag in each can, and 2 dishwasher pods if applicable. For our check out instructions: We only ask that you start a load of laundry and start the dishwasher as a courtesy. This is standard protocol in vacation rental companies.
