Cozy Cabin…
What a great place for our anniversary weekend retreat! Dave is a wonderful host - communicative and so friendly. We loved talking to him about…well a lot things. This place is really well appointed from mustard/mayo in the fridge to water toys to the game room - even cozy blankets for a fall nap on the porch. We look forward to going back for a longer stay! Thank you Dave!

Perfect
This is a cozy, delightful cabin on the most beautiful, clean lake. Wonderful screen porch. Dave was easy to communicate with and a welcoming, friendly host. The property has interesting history and is very well kept and cared for. It’s clear that many guests come back here every year, and I can see why. I would stay here again any time. Absolutely loved it.

Charming
The spot was beautiful. Grew up vacationing on the lake and it was a treat to be able to enjoy its charm again. The host was very accommodating and the cabin has so many wonderful touches. Will be going back because it was so relaxing. The cabins are simple but decorated so well.

Peaceful paradise
Cabin is wonderful and decorated in rustic cabin style. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals .The screened in porch is wonderful for meals , drinks , naps ,gets afternoon sun great view and beautiful sunsets . My only suggestion would be a heat source maybe electric fireplace. First morning was very cold untill the afternoon sun hit. Loved my stay would stay again.

MB & I live in Newburyport, MA with our Golden Retrievers, Mini & Biker. We enjoy entertaining, spending time with friends and traveling. MB's triathlons require lots of training but there is still time to watch the sunsets.

Why they chose this property

It's hard to describe .... that feeling when you know something is just right !!! Sounds crazy that we bought lake property in February but it felt so good and has been even better than we dreamed.

What makes this property unique

The Lodge was built in 1889 and the Cottages were added in the early 1950's so there is yesterday's rustic charm with today's conveniences. The sunsets, clear water, stars above the fire pit and the loons make us all warm & fuzzy.
