About this property

Sunset Serenity: Hot Tub Bliss!

Experience the serenity of spring at Sunset Serenity! Cozy up by the outdoor fireplace, soak in the hot tub, and savor breathtaking lake views. Your perfect spring escape awaits.

Sunset Serenity describes how you'll feel when you stay at this exceptional Bayfield beach cottage. From the stunning lake views to the professional decorated spaces to the peaceful outdoor spaces, this cottage promises to spoil, relax and impress even the most discriminating guests. The tastefully decorated interior spaces rival the exterior views, giving off a relaxed beach cottage vibe that will have you forgetting your stresses in no time.

Watch the most beautiful sunsets in the world from your private beach, or the deck, or the living room and even the kitchen. Truly this is Sunset Serenity!

INSIDE
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room frame out those incredible lake views and bathe the space in natural light. When it's too dark to enjoy the views, turn your attention to the living room's SmartTV or just enjoy good old fashioned conversation around the gas fireplace.

Start your day in the eat-in kitchen enjoying a delicious breakfast and incredible lake views. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you need to create all your family favourites, with full-size appliances and plenty of counter space. Plus, the front porch houses a propane gas grill for easy meals.

OUTSIDE
Those incredible lake views continue outside on the covered patio where you can enjoy dazzling sunsets with a cold drink in the Muskoka chairs. If the evenings turn chilly, cozy up with a fire in the wood-burning fireplace. Whether you're looking for your daily dose of vitamin D or prefer your fresh air with plenty of shade, the pretty yard has great spaces with both sun and shade.

Private access, approx 80 stairs lead to a beautiful beaches providing fun day and night. On the way down to the beach, you'll pass a sunset deck, another perfect spot to watch the day end. Down on the beach, splash in the gentle waves, explore the ever-changing sandbars or just soak up the sun during the day. At night, gather around the beach campfire at night with songs, s'mores and stories while you watch the stars come out.

NOTE: This year 2023 we still had a beach and I expect we will this coming summer too depending on lake levels and what the lake pushes up. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

SLEEPING SPACES
Premier offers a queen bed. And great spot to work if you have to.
BR #2 also has a queen bed

EXPERIENCE BAYFIELD
With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color. Several weeks later, the snow starts to fall and guests can enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests or try out the snowshoe trails on the river flats.

You're just five minutes from White Squirrel Golf Club with winter hiking trails and winter golf for those die-hard links lovers. Explore downtown Bayfield, just two minutes away, browsing the unique boutiques and stopping for a hot coffee at one of the quaint cafes. We're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, including Dark Horse Estate Winery with a tasting room as well as an outdoor skating rink. If you prefer hops over vines, Bayfield River Road Brewing has an outdoor tasting room to enjoy the craft brews. With wooded trails, scenic country vistas and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season.

Great location!
Nice, quaint cottage that had everything that we needed! The lake view was awesome and being so close to Bayfield, and not to far from Grand Bend and Goderich was really great! Jennifer communicated very well as the check in/check out process was very easy.

Another amazing stay at Sunset Serenity!
We had such a great time last year, we decided to return for another visit. The weather wasn’t as nice this year as it was last year, but we still had a great time. We went for lots of walks in between the breaks in rain and still took in all the sights around the area. We enjoyed the break from the hustle of everyday life and the tranquility of the cottage. The trees and the sound of the water crashing on the shore certainly brought a peacefulness to our days. The cottage was pristine and had all the comforts of home, with a much better view :) We are grateful that we had this time away to reconnect and we look forward to returning again soon! Jen and Lea are fabulous hosts!

Absolutely perfectly relaxing
Four of us stayed at this property for the second year in a row. We especially enjoy the outdoor covered area with wood burning fireplace and the beach deck overlooking Lake Huron. We also enjoyed visiting Cowbell Brewery in Blyth,Bayfield shops,Lambeth Museum in Grand Bend for Ontario Paints 2022 show.
