Central location close to restaurants and groceries

The condo was comfortable and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the location was very convenient. There was a lot of highway noise to be aware of if that bothers you. I would have preferred umbrellas at the pool for needed shade. The closest beach was basically a homeless camp but you could walk north or south to neighboring hotels to use their beaches. There was another beach that you could drive to nearby that was also very nice

Great Condo. Had all the amenities. Three remotes needed new batteries. A/C remotes were hard to read. LCD screens were very dim so you couldn’t see the readings. But over all a good place.

Reviewer Comments: Our unit was perfect for our needs, close to restaurants and shopping, Longs drug store, Safeway, and a short walk thru a meadow to the beach and yet private and quiet with a view of the pool, BBQ and garden. There are only 2 stories to each group of units so the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The lanai was the length of the living room and bedroom so perfect for morning coffee and breakfast.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved it here! It was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Only 10 minutes from Lihue airport. We did the helicopter tour and Lydgate chocolate tour which were both within 10 minutes.Poipu was only 25 minutes away, Priceville was 30 minutes, and Waimea Canyon was a little over an hour, so we never had to travel too far!Nice staff and very clean! The pool and hottub were great as well.

Very clean, lovely decor, comfortable, kitchen well stocked, two a/c units (one in living room/kitchen area, one in bedroom), lovely view, quiet area. Nice furnishings, king size bed, bathroom with plenty of counter space. The owners have thought of many extras to make this place great: beach towels, beach chairs, drying rack(very smart!), coolers. We had everything we needed or wanted and more. The beautiful beach is a short and easy walk away. We also made use of the pool and hot tub. The entire property is well maintained. The location worked well for us, close to airport and Kapaa with many restaurants and shopping. Groceries also convenient. We reached out to management with a question and received prompt, professional and friendly service. We would absolutely stay here again! Mahalo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just got back from our vacation in Kauai and we stayed in Plantation Hale D11. It's an older unit but has some upgrades like newer counters and furniture. It had pretty much everything we needed but I would suggest that you check in and see what is available, then do your shopping accordingly. It faces the pool and grounds which are lush and well maintained. Close to the main road but with the sliders closed you can't hear a thing! As this is a private unit, there is no included maid service or refresh of towels, soap, etc. The property management was a dream to work with as they were very attentive to us and very responsive. If you are like us and like to stay like you live there versus the resort experience, then this place is just right. To be honest, we were rarely in the unit and were out and about each day exploring all the wonders of this beautiful island! And the location on the East side was ideal for us since we equally visited the North and South shores so it was a good central location. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this place!

Just What We Needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This apartment was a great choice for my husband and I for our 6 night stay. We were very comfortable here. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities listed. All linens were fresh and clean. It even had a few things like ziplock bags, Saran Wrap, and aluminum foil. I loved having the ice packs and insulated coolers - we used them every day to keep cold water bottles with us. The bed was comfortable and had enough pillows for both of us (I’m a two pillow person!). Loved the location - it’s equal distance from the north and south shores with plenty of shopping and amenities close enough to walk to. We walked to the Coconut Marketplace several times for food or shopping. The staff was kind and helpful. Laundry was easy - download the app and add $2.50 per load ($1.50 to wash, $1 to dry). We never used the pool. There was always plenty of parking. My only criticism would be the couch isn’t very comfortable, but it is serviceable. If you are a light sleeper the road noise might be a bother, but honestly it didn’t bother me at all. And if you read reviews about roosters waking you up, you need to understand they are allllll over the island and the owners can’t control that! Wear ear plugs - all islands in Hawaii have them. Loved our stay and would love to come back and stay here.

Comfortable and clean!

We had a great experience staying here. The condo was well-stocked with just about anything we needed, plenty of towels and beach gear. The A/C was a bonus and very much appreciated. Checking in was a breeze even after our flight was delayed and we didn’t arrive til 1AM. Walking distance to Coconut Marketplace (make sure you check out Sleeping Giant for fish tacos!) and tons of other shops and groceries. Central location to head up north or down south. We had an issue with the shower head the first day and it was immediately taken care of by management, thank you so much! 10/10 would stay here again.

Perfect place to stay

My daughter and I really enjoyed this beautiful spot. The unit was incredibly clean. We appreciated that there are beach towels, umbrella, chairs and a cooler. It made it nice to have those items available. We also really appreciated the filtered water in the refrigerator. The location is great also. We explored different parts of the island and found this to be a nice central location.

Perfect Retreat

My Wife and I stayed here for Our second Wedding Anniversary. The Owner was in touch with us right away assuring we were comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony looking out over the beautiful landscape and pool. The Condo was well stocked with electronics to enjoy, wi-fi, TV,s, DVD and even a movie selection. The Owner has provided many items to make Our stay enjoyable. Ice Chest,Chairs,Beach Mats, Beach Towels. Lots of Bathroom supplies as well. The Owner also shared her future improvements to improve a even better experience. We plan to return. Lava Lava was Our favorite Happy Hour stop, a short walk. We enjoyed the Market Place, especially the vendor with the Sticky Buns. Thank You Bruce & Darlene

Nice place!

Condo is cute and comfortable. Beach access is odd but overall the area is nice. We enjoyed the pool area too, which was a nice surprise.

Thank you for highlighting the pool area. The 3 pools on the property and 2 jacuzzis are a great relaxing zone. The beach access is usually easy and right across the way however the property owner has not been mowing it and the tropical grasses are taller than I'm personally comfortable with so I suggest another way through a neighboring property. But good news, the owner has now hired someone full time to mow and clean it up prior to the end of the year. So as soon as that's done, I will again suggest guests walk directly towards ocean for beach access. For now route takes an extra minute.

Amazing stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location felt like home from the moment we stepped foot through the door. From the views, accomodations, owner, and property managment personnel, the Plantation Hale was amazing! Conveniently located in Kapa'a and not to far from any outdoor activity, night life, restaurants, or beach on the island. I would stay here again hands down.
