Everything was perfect for our stay! Location was great, had everything you could possibly need for a beach day and to cook meals in the kitchen. They were very accommodating whey we asked for a late checkout. We would absolutely stay here again. Mahalo!

The hosts, Jeremy and Kristen, are excellent….really better than excellent! From my first question to contacting them upon arrival, they always responded very quickly! The property is comfortable. We had everything we needed, although some items need replacing. Traveling from the Continental US, I wasn’t sure if there would be ample supplies but there was and we appreciated that. The rental was a little bit hard to find in the dark but we managed. Poipu Beach is definitely walkable if you are okay with hills which we all were. It’s about a 1/2 mile. The rental had all the necessary beach items as well. Pool was nice. There are grocery stores about 3 miles away. One bedroom/bath is downstairs and one bedroom/bath are upstairs. The area is very quiet. Also, there’s a dedicated parking space. With a little TLC this rental would definitely be 5 stars, but I would definitely rent here again!

Our stay has been great - our host is kind and responsive - location is great, you can easily navigate from here to all things Kauai - the accommodations are cozy and comfortable - evenings on the lanai under a sky lit up by full moon silhouetting the palm tree frond's accompanied by birds songs and a gentle breeze was lovely - beach gear is provided for spending time on the beach…So whatcha waitin for!?! The crater is calling ya!

The bedrooms were clean and good size. Kitchen had all the appliances and kitchen tools needed. Plenty of towels. Pool was a nice plus. I loved the lanai. Great for reading and sipping wine. Being close to Kalapaki Joe's made it perfect!

The location was very private and quiet, with easy access to the beach, local restaurants and attractions. We would have enjoyed better outdoor lighting when returning in the evening along the upper sidewalk. The home was outfitted with everything you could need during your stay. The beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella on our day trips. We enjoyed the lanai every morning listening to the birds and rustle of the trees in the breeze. We also found the pool refreshing and surrounding area to be very clean. Destination Kauai was very communicative and we have recommended this location to our friends. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to the beautiful island of Kauai.

Very well appointed place, which we appreciated! The breeze was lovely and we didn't miss having air conditioning. Quiet location close to Poipu beaches and within short drive to groceries. Perfect Location

Our stay at this location was greatly enjoyed and one of our favorites out of the 4 places we stayed during our vacation to several of the Hawaiian Islands. It was a beautiful space located amongst tropical plants and flowers. We woke every morning to the birds and crowing rooster (but he didn't bother us, it was just part of the ambiance.) The ceiling fans along with the trade winds kept our time in the condo cool and comfortable. There was ample space for our group and we were more than relaxed and happy to end our evenings in such a nice space. The bed and pillows were soft and cozy, typically I have a difficult time sleeping when away from home, but not here, I slept soundly. I also enjoyed being able to walk to Poipu beach every morning during my stay, definitely a highlight of the area. I would recommend anyone staying at this location to arrive during daylight hours, at least initially, as it makes it easier to locate. We had a wonderful stay at this location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. Mahalo!

Great place to stay in Poipu! Condo had everything we needed - except A/C. I am sure it said it somewhere in the description but I missed it. It doesn't really cool down much, especially upstairs, so keep this in mind when booking. The crater area is beautiful and quiet! Enjoyed mornings on the porch!

Real crater!

This is a nice clean comfortable unit with a beautiful well sheltered lanai that gets the morning sun, wonderful breakfast spot. We didn’t realize when we booked it but the name does hint at the fact that you are really in a crater. The turn off the street into the complex drops probably about 30 feet to your parking spot, then there is maybe 12-15 foot climb back up the sidewalk to get to the unit. We are able bodied so it wasn’t that big of a deal but we had planned on doing a little more walking from the unit to the beaches and shops. We ended up driving most places instead. This unit is pretty good value for your dollar I think with somewhat dated fixtures and furnishings but it was comfortable and functional. There was a shortage of Kleenex, garbage bags and no sink stopper for the kitchen sink and it seems the towels had been put away while still damp by the cleaners before our stay, so those were down points but all around we were quite satisfied.

Lovely cottage on a well designed small complex

Great position for Poipu beach and exploring the south of the island. Very well equipped kitchen. Cottage is close to the pool with views from a spacious balcony.

Beautiful, clean and quiet!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at crater 26! The house was just as listed. We arrived to a clean, bright and spacious place to call home for a week. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking as well as cleaning. There was plenty of laundry soap and towels. We appreciated the extra box fans to help circulate that warm Hawai’i air. The upstairs (master) room was very spacious with a comfortable king bed and beautiful furnishings. We didn’t use the downstairs bedroom as it was just the two of us, but that was a beautifully made room as well. The pool area was a wonderful quiet and clean space to lounge in the sun and read. The loungers were very nice and the layout provided plenty of personal space. Check in/check out was easy. Thank you Jeremy for providing a wonderful home away from home for our week long kid free vacation. Would recommend crater 26 to friends and family if planning a visit to Kaua’i!
