This house was incredible in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and accessible instructions for equipment/services like lights and music. The folks renting it out are so easy to work with and made check in/check out very simple! The kitchen is so well stocked with cooking utensils and pots/pans. It was all a true delight. Golden is an a great little town. We are so grateful and would love to come back.

This property is beautiful and the pictures do not capture the fabulous architecture! The kitchen is well stocked and the house is very organized and well kept. Reid and Carrie are very prompt with communication. Carrie met us and gave us a tour of the property and explained many details regarding lighting, hot tub, etc. There were 13 in our multigenerational family and there was room for us all. We especially loved spending time on the patios. We would go back again and again.

Beautiful home ideal from family retreat

Perfect ski house

This house is perfect for larger groups of friends or family’s looking to stay and ski. It’s a great spot to apres and relax after a day on the slopsThey have everything needed to cook big family style meals and eat in-front of a large real wood fire House has full Audi system so music can be going anyplace you need it Hot tub is a good size and very clean I can keep going on but just check out the pictures in the listing, they are 100% accurate

A classic mountain home

We loved our stay and enjoyed a classic on mountain ski trip. Carri’s home is warm and inviting and beautifully built. The layout couldn’t be beat for groups of family or friends. The home is very well stocked and we appreciated all of the traditional mountain decor. The double queen bunks are great for kids but also large enough to accommodate adults. We hope to be back!

A memorable holiday

What a beautiful house and property. It was very apparent the pride and care the owners took in the upkeep of this very unique and special house. It was a family trip involving three families and it accommodated everyone perfectly. The owner were extremely responsive and helpful when requested. Thanks again and hope to stay here again soon!

Our ski group has stayed in dozens of ski houses across the North America over the last 2 decades but this was hands down the best of the bunch. The house itself was amazing - beautiful timber structure, large bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathroom, a large lvining room with wood burning fireplace, tasteful decor and furnishings, a fully stocked kitchen - the list goes on. Our host Carri was super responsive to all our questions in advance of our visit and was even there to greet us personally when we arrived. Access to the mountain is easy and convenient, just a short walk to the end of our street where you can jump on a trail to take you to the base of Kicking Horse. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful home in the mountains of Golden

This home is a real gem! Wonderfully appointed and in a beautiful location. Great for our teen aged kids who enjoyed playing pool and watching movies in the rec room. We loved cooking in the kitchen and enjoying a glass of wine on the back deck. We would definitely come back! Lots of hiking nearby and the gondola was super fun! We also saw Boo, the grizzly bear.

Exquisite luxury ski home in Kicking Horse

My friends and I just returned from a wonderful week on the mountain. Terrific,, snow, and a luxurious, clean, and extremely well appointed home to return to afterwards. Kerry and her team provided tremendous service and fast response to all of our questions. We would gladly return to this lovely home.

Our first impression was WOW! This is such a beautiful place. We had plenty of room and we practically lived on the outdoor patio. Carri was a perfect host and welcomed us at the house and showed us all the perks and layout of the house. We had big fluffy towels (plenty of them), coffee, tea,etc. We also enjoyed Kicking Horse Resort and ate on property a few nights. The coffee shop at the bottom of the gondola was great. Wish we could come back ASAP! Thanks for everything!
