Incredible view, a perfect getaway!

I’ll first say that the photos don’t do the view justice! The mountains and river valley are stunning and in perfect view from the front windows and the hot tub. The house is very clean and laid out in a way that is perfect for hanging out with friends and family. We had everything we needed and Lydia was a very responsive and accommodating host. Highly recommend!

Golden visit 2025

Though the property is advertised for 18 people this property is not spacious enough for them.Kitchen freezer is very small and cleanliness was average.They additionally charge for cleaning fee. No recommended for next time.

Hi Kul, We’re disappointed to see this review, especially given the circumstances. Unfortunately, your group left our home in a condition far outside the bounds of normal use. There was blood on the sheets, used diapers left on the floor, and toilets clogged with improper items. We had to replace approximately $500 worth of linens and towels, and our cleaning team spent an additional five hours restoring the space. We strive to create a stress-free, 5-star experience for every guest and have hosted many large groups without issue. However, in this case, we had no choice but to retain the damage deposit to cover the costs incurred. We are in contact with VRBO regarding this review, as we believe it does not reflect an honest or fair account of the stay. We remain committed to offering a clean, respectful, and comfortable environment for all future guests.

Cousins/family getaway

From the moment I booked the place to after we left, it was an amazing experience. Lydia was always willing to answer our questions before, during and after our stay. The house was beautiful and was everything we had asked for! Not to mention the views and the yard was amazing. It’s such a short distance into town too. I would highly recommend staying here for your next getaway. It’s the perfect spot!! I know I will be coming back next time I’m in Golden! 10/10!

80 birthday celebration with family

We comfortably slept 13 people and there was something to do for all age groups! My grandchildren enjoyed the game room downstairs and the board games gave us lots of entertainment in the evenings! The hot tub was also a hit! When we needed some extra bedding it was there within a half hour. They supplied a Guest book with lots of activities to do around Golden, we would recommend doing the sky bridge, white water rafting and if you have a chance to go to the farmers market and walk along the River it’s quite nice. My grandson even said “this is the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at!” Thank you for the wonderful stay, the whole family enjoyed it!

We really enjoyed this property just a few minutes South of Golden. There were 8 adults in our group. The Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, coffee pot, as well as a beer fridge under the island. Beds were comfortable, though there was not a great deal of storage/dressers. The bathrooms were clean, but the showers were very small. We enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean and hot! We used the fire pit and enjoyed the stars. We also enjoyed watching Cluck Norris, the resident property chicken who somehow outsmarted a very healthy fox who was chasing him one morning. Two members of our party even stayed in one day using the wifi to work from home w/ out any problems. The only thing I would have changed would be slightly bigger showers, and maybe some hooks to hang up more towels, jackets. Washer n dryer worked great. We found multiple restaurants/cafes in town that were great. Papa Bear's Kitchen was great w/ the best ever maple latte. And Eleven 22 was awesome for dinner. We visited Jasper, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and the town of Banff on this trip. Were it not for the full moon we would have likely even seen the northern lights. I would definitely stay here again.
