Our immaculately clean and personally sanitized private home may be just the way to balance health and safety concerns of a local hotel with guests coming and going. We feature a fully furnished queen master bedroom, formal dining room, breakfast nook, family room and living room. Junior master bedroom with queen bed and 2 additional bedrooms available with twin beds and twin trundle beds and a multi purpose 5th bedroom. Includes 1 car attached garage, all utilities including Netflix and other roku via 100/100 speed wifi for streaming.
Main level includes solid oak hardwood floors throughout living room, dining room, gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, and family room with built in gas fireplace. 2nd level includes Master bedroom with master bath and full walk-in closet, Junior master bedroom with private bath and 2 additional bedrooms with adjoining full bath. Made it so easy

Robert is a great host and did everything to make our family reunions a success. The house is immaculate and very well stocked. My only comment is it can sleep 8 adults relatively comfortably (2 bedrooms have pullout mattress on the floor).

Fabulous host

A really large property that was well equipped. Robert was helpful with information for the area and had left a bundle of food for when we arrived. There was also a host of condiments, coffee syrups, laundry powder etc, that we didn't use but it was wonderful to have if we needed. We would happily stay again.

Everything about the house is perfect, location, space, facilities. But what makes this house exceptional is Robert. You can tell that he really wants his guests to have a wonderful stay, the house is immaculate and he provided us with far more than we could have ever hoped. Fantastic Property

We travelled from the UK to visit the DC area staying at this property for 2 weeks. The location was great and the house was perfect with more than enough space for us. Robert was an absolute pleasure to deal with stocking the cupboards and Fridge with more than just the essentials which was very welcome given our arrival time was 2am. I only needed to contact Robert once during our stay as we found the temperature to hot overnight , I had a response in 10 minutes with everything sorted for the remainder of our trip. The house is 10 minutes from Glenmont Metro station which we found to be a convenient 30 minute or so journey into downtown DC. We also drove a couple of times to Baltimore to watch the baseball which was only 40 minutes away. Although the house is on a fairly narrow street with no sidewalk I found plenty of running routes through the wonderful Paint Branch Valley. The backyard is massive and my kids loved running about playing, Plenty of towels were provided and the property was very clean so we would highly recommend.

Didn’t want to come home

Such a beautiful property, immaculately clean. Lovely garden. Stocked well. Quiet and comfortable. Truly didn’t want to come home! Robert was very helpful and polite when communicated with. The only issue we had was recycling, we done it wrong and the didn’t collect it (I just hate how different areas do different processes!) so apologies to Robert for this! Hope to return again soon!

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY....

Before arriving at this property, I was wondering why all the previous guests unanimously gave both the apartment and its owner, Robert, five stars. When I arrived, I saw that there was no exaggeration in the rating! The apartment was extremely clean, and featured everything as described in the listing. In addition, Robert went the extra mile to provide everything that we'd most likely need on our first day - bread, milk, eggs, tea/coffee, drinks, and lots more. We had a very lovely chat with him - when we eventually managed to 'corner' him. Discreetly, he had stayed completely out of our way. His response to our communication at every stage was great - before we arrived, during our stay, and after we left. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this great property to the next lucky guest.

Spring Break in DC

The house was so much better than staying at a hotel. There were 6 of us that stayed and we had plenty of space. The house is near the Metro, so getting around DC was a breeze. I would stay there again in a heart beat the next time I am in the DC area.

a great house

Four of us came to the area for some spring golf. This place is excellent. Clean, well outfitted, nice beds, kitchen stocked with essentials, just fabulous. As all four of us are retirees the staircase to the second floor looked intimidating but it was fine.

Fantastic house, great owner

The house was great, the location was great, the owner was great. Need I say more? The owner supplied some food for us to welcome us and the kitchen was supplied with all the utensils, spices and things needed in the kitchen. Each bedroom had a TV and was clean and comfortable. All in all a wonderful place. If we need to come back to the area, we will look at this house first.

Beautiful house, great access to the Capital

The house was beautiful and very modern. Immaculately clean. Lots of space. Plentiful in cooking needs-utensils, basic needs and in-a-pinch foods. Also a gallon of milk, a loaf of bread, and a dozen eggs, orange juice, and butter in the fridge for late arrivals that have no time to shop prior to check in. Really well thought out and prepped. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again! Also, very attentive host!

Outstanding Property

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is spacious and open. It was very inviting and stocked with the essentials and more. The washer and dryer options were great - we were able to do laundry throughout our stay. It was great to have two primary bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms as we were also traveling with my parents.The property manager was extremely responsive and helped us out quickly when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house.Highly recommend.

Excellent choice

My family (4 - 5 adults, 3 teens, one child) found the house to be absolutely perfect for us. We were looking for accommodations for a crowd in a safe neighborhood in close proximity to DC museums and monuments. The house was very clean and comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Driving to DC in our rental car was easy enough, taking as little as 35 minutes depending on traffic. You can’t beat the cost, and you have an entire house to eat and relax in after hours of sightseeing. The host is amazing, very responsive, and super helpful. If we ever get a chance to go back to the area, I’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed.

Family Thanksgiving

Our extended family of 10 stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday while visiting our son who lives nearby. The property was great for our family with plenty of space and beds for everyone. We did need to bring our own pack 'n' plays for the babies but that was expected. We especially appreciated the cleanliness. Finding milk, eggs, bananas and bread in the fridge when we arrived was an unexpected bonus.

Silver Spring Gem

We gathered family together for a wedding in College Park. The whole house was spotless! Bedrooms, three full baths, and kitchen necessities met all our needs during a long weekend stay. The check-in was simple - everything worked as described. The check-out was also simple - no long list of "to do" items - just common courtesy to ensure everything is off/closed/locked and the trash emptied. Owner responded quickly to our questions. The location is convenient not only to the University of Maryland campus area - but also to Washington, DC. This is a lovely, spacious home!

Had a great time!

We visited the DC area in 2008 and decided that the family needed a reprise of it. The house provided a great "home base" for the trip, which included multiple days on the Mall (close to Glenmont Metro station), the Aquarium and other sites in Baltimore/Annapolis, and a day trip up to Gettysburg. The house was clean, comfy, and Robert is a great communicator. Highly recommend

While building this beautiful and spacious home for our extended family, we have temporarily adjusted our plans due to illnesses with close family members. Working 2 jobs and living alone in this large house seemed a waste, for the moment, it is nice to know that the home can benefit families as it was intended. Hopefully, sooner than later, we can resume the life we intended for our family, but until then, we can help ourselves by helping others fulfill their needs, whatever that need may be.

Our home is large enough for parents, kids and grandparents to share and have plenty of elbow room. Not to mention the savings over booking 2 or more hotel rooms for family coming for a wedding or vacationing together. Being able to cook a meal in house once a day and save a fortune in restaurant bills as well.
We want to provide all the comforts of home with the personalized service of a hotel at a fraction of the cost, no one will go to the extent to anticipate your needs more than we will.
