Thank you for your review. We're sorry about the construction, but would like to remind you that the property description does clearly state that ongoing construction is going on in the area. Unfortunately we can't control when construction happens, as the area has undergone a lot due to hurricane Ian in 2022.

We appreciate the opportunity to host you and thank you for your feedback. We regret to hear and are disapointed you experienced some cleaning deficiencies. The cleaning company has cleaned our Lovers Key condos for several years and strive to provide a quality cleaning service. We'll for sure bring your feedback to their attention to help overcome any cleaning deficiencies going forward. Repairs are regretable and sometimes unavoidable. We do our best to be as responsive as possible to our guest service calls. However, please be advised that we're subject to the local service vendors availibilty and repsonse times. Unfortunatley since the hurricane, we've experienced slower response times due to alot of area post recovery efforts, construction and repair demands on our local vendors. We welcome you again in the future and appreciate your visiting and support of our area during it's recovery time.

The resort building is undergoing the final balcony and building exterior painting restoration stages since the the hurricane. We disclosed this work as soon as we were informed by the condo association management last November and is estimated to be completed between the end of March to mid-April. The long-awaited new bridge construction is taking place on Estero Blvd at the front of the resort entrance and has restricted access to the north end of Lovers Key Beach, but the main entrance to Lovers Key State Park and beach is open and accessible about 1/2 mile from the resort. Otherwise, Fort Myers Beach is accessible within 1/2 mile to 1 mile from the resort and Bonita Beach is about 3 miles to the south. The pool is on the northwest side of the resort building and when the sun is lower in the sky during the winter months, it hits the pool side between noon-1:00 p.m. The sun hits the pool side earlier in the day as Spring and Summer approaches. Unfortunately, the delay was due to the timing of a major holiday when many contractors, including our maintenance personnel, take well-deserved time off. While we do our best to accommodate requests promptly, this particular situation was impacted by the holiday schedule, and we apologize for the confusion in communication about when the issue could be resolved. This issue has now been addressed and should not be a problem for future guests. Best of luck in your future travels.

We've not heard form anymore prior to or since your stay regarding not having a toaster, but housekeeping will be checking between turns & we'll get a new one delivered if needed. Regarding the speaker you referenced, the resort has an intercom system for emergencies; it's not anything we or the owner operate so the best contact would've been the front desk. We wish we'd have known during your stay so we could've directed you to them! Overall, we're glad you had a great time. The resort is truly a gem & in a wonderful location. The water heater in the condo is relatively new & housekeeping has been made aware to run the water if the units have sat vacant for a significant amount of time. We've not had this smell reported before, but we're sorry to hear it occurred. Flipper's is a great spot & we love it too! The fishing can be so fun & we're glad you enjoyed it.
