Unfortunately, our team didn't hear from you during your stay regarding the construction & until seeing this review, weren't aware of construction in the surrounding area. Our direct contact information is provided in all of our communications regarding reservations and if you contacted VRBO directly, that message never got to us. Hi Lynn - we're so glad you had a great time & appreciate the feedback. We're glad to have the opportunity to clarify some of your remarks. Regarding the entry upon arrival, we do request that guests let us know if they are arriving after 7pm. You all arrived close to 1am & unfortunately no one knew. The code provided was not incorrect; unfortunately the door lock batteries died. While that was completely out of our control, we did send maintenance the next morning & the problem was fixed. The hot water heater settings are per the recommended settings for safety, especially for those traveling with children, but while maintenance was there the morning after your arrival the adjustment was made per your request. Lastly, regarding the wifi, the information provided was correct & had worked before & since your stay. You all were not left without wifi, despite user error; a hotspot was provided and you were able to use it as an alternative. The inaccuracy of events listed in your review is really disappointing. Our team works really hard for each & every guest, and while we can't prevent every single issue that may arise or issues resulting from user error, we work really hard to provide quick resolutions.

Hi Timothy - thanks for taking time to leave your review. We're glad you had a good time & enjoyed the beautiful home! I spoke to our team regarding the AC & they informed me that it wasn't until a couple of days into your stay that they heard from you & had an AC tech out same day to check the unit. Unfortunately we can't do anything to anticipate a smoke detector battery going off, but have maintenance to address things as quickly as possible. We send guests an email ahead of time with a list of items included in the starter amenity pack (some garbage bags per kitchen & each bathroom are provided along with bar soaps & a starter dish soap); there's not daily housekeeping service to refresh amenities & owner's don't provide a full stock of items for every guests stay. We're glad you & your family had a nice time!
