In a great location. Very close to the east side gate and not too hilly enjoyed participating in some of the commuting events, including playing mah-jongg, rummy Q and going to one of the dances

Beautiful home and well equipped to make relaxing stay. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. Would certainly recommend to others that they will not regret staying at property and we would not hesitate to stay there in the future.

Great get-away for a couple

We spent two weeks here to celebrate our 45th anniversary. Great location near the east entrance. Isolated, private but close enough to Brevard. Nicely furnished. We enjoyed the trails and waterfalls within Connestee Falls and in the area, as well as the Brevard Music Festival. I would stay here again.

Home Away From Home

This house has everything you could think of when traveling. The kitchen and bath were well outfitted- they've thought of everything you may have forgotten. Very clean and we loved the screened in back porch! Quiet for reading or having dinner with friends...

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I loved the house. It felt like we like were living in a forest. The house was very comfortable and lacked for nothing. The property owners were attentive and very friendly. We played golf, hiked the forest trails, and had dinner at the clubhouse. Everyone we met made us feel welcome.

A home in the mountains

To start, the property owner was great with communication. She made sure we were all ready to check in before our trip. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Even the pull-out couch was comfortable to sleep on. It was too cold for us to spend time outside, but there is a great porch here if the weather is better. We would definitely stay here again!

mountain getaway

Paula couldn't have been more helpful and was quick to respond to all calls. The house was very clean and comfortable and the community had a lot to offer for families - pool, tennis, pickle ball and a lovely park and lake very close to the house. Not a great place to walk with two lane roads which were curvy and often steep. Although it's only nine miles from Brevard, the roads are mountainous and dark so we were reluctant to venture out at night. The house is conveniently located to visit state parks and numerous waterfalls.

Lovely home in the mountains

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this lovely home in Connestee Falls. The home’s location is convenient within the neighborhood and it is easy to get to downtown Brevard. Everything was clean and the hosts were very communicative, even going so far as to provide recommendations for things to do and forwarding community emails about events happening during our stay! The only downside to our stay was poor internet service, which I know can’t always be helped due to the remote location and the service provider. When the WiFi worked, it was very slow and not reliable. If the purpose of your trip is to unplug and relax, then this wouldn’t be an issue. Unfortunately, we were trying to close a property sale and had to drive into town in order to access the documents we needed to sign, which was frustrating. I know this is not the owner’s fault, but it would have been helpful to know this might be an issue before we booked. Other than that, everything was lovely!

Molly, thank you so much for your kind words about our home and your stay! We're glad you enjoyed the location and appreciated our communication and recommendations. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the internet service. We understand how important reliable internet can be, especially when handling important matters like a property sale. Had we known during your stay, we would have done everything we could to resolve the issue right away. After your stay, the next guest reported similar internet issues, and we immediately had a technician visit the property. It turned out that the modem was malfunctioning, and once replaced, the service has been running smoothly.Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back for a more seamless experience in the future!

October in Connestee Falls

A very peaceful and relaxing vacation sitting on the back porch, snuggled up in blankets watching the leaves fall. It was just what we needed. The cabin is just as described, well-equipped, tranquil and beautfiul.

Lovely!

Home was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Convenient location, fun family amenities available in the gated community (we used pool, tennis courts & golf club but there are also lakes which I’m sure are also great), and all the things we forgot to pack were waiting for us in the house. In town of Brevard kids loved Crystal Mountain Gem Shop, O. P. Taylor’s Toy Store & Rocky’s Grill & Soda Shop. We also really enjoyed hiking the waterfall trail in DuPont National Forrest and eating out at Cedar Mountain Cafe. (Also a whole list of activities in Owners’ info book at the house.) Owners were amazing! In touch as soon as we booked to welcome us, sent all required check-in info well in advance of stay, and were readily available to answer any questions that came up during the trip. It was very comforting to know they were just a text message away and always happy to help, and I’m so glad we chose this house for our visit!

A wonderful Christmas

This is a great little cabin! Looks exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed. Felt secluded but not isolated which is hard to find! When other reviewers say it’s comfortable.. ITS COMFORTABLE!! The couches, beds and outdoor day bed was dreamy! Paula was a wonderful host. If you’re thinking about it, just do it!

Annual reunion for the changing of the leaves

Connestee Falls is the center of all things waterfalls and hiking! Our 6th family reunion was perfect due in large part to Paula and her husband by making sure we had anything needed to be comfortable, to have easy access to all amenoties, and did it in a very pleasant way.

Charming and Comfortable

What a wonderful place. The owners have done a tremendous job of updating and remodeling an older home. It's now very modern and very tastefully decorated. We had a great stay and would definitely book here again on our next trip to Connestee Falls. From booking to check out everything went smoothly.
