The pool was amazing. Great size with a lot of space around the pool for relaxing in the sun. This home was perfect for my family’s spring break vacation. Communication with the host was outstanding, access to the home was easy. My kids had so many things to do. Great location for shopping and restaurants and not a far drive to outdoor recreational activities. We would definitely book this home again next year.

This house is awesome. Pool and spa are great. Interior with the pool table and card table is super nice to have. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts are very responsive to any needs. Overall one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed in.

Great location and the hosts were very responsive and kind. The house was comfortable and spacious. The cleanliness of the inside, outside patio, pool, and hot tub did not meet our expectations and disappointed as my kids were excited do a clean pool and spa area. The pool was incredibly cold and the spa had a disgusting green scum that was never cleaned after we paid the extra fee.

Response from VrboOwner on 27 Mar 2026
Thanks for your review, Kevin. We’re really sorry about the scum in the spa. It was serviced before your arrival, and we always make sure the pool and spa are cleaned before guests arrive for the best experience, but unfortunately some unexpected buildup appeared. We really appreciate your understanding and for skimming it during your stay. Just to clarify, the pool wasn’t heated since the pool heater option wasn’t purchased—you only had the spa heat. Thanks again for your feedback!

Avondale Paradise

This house was nothing short of amazing! Staff was fantastic and responded immediately. The beds were super comfortable, so much so we all may just purchase the mattresses ourselves! There is nothing negative about this house, the pool, the amount of space, everything provided was perfect and the location is superb! We will absolutely stay here again!

Positive Experience

First off, the responsiveness of the owner was amazing. Very quick to answer all my questions. The property is in a great neighborhood, and the house is very well laid out. Spacious rooms, huge kitchen, and beautiful backyard with a heated pool were all we needed for a great vacation getaway.

Highly recommend

This house provided us the perfect space for our visit to the area. The pool area was perfect! We shot several games of pool and took advantage of the nice grill provided. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to eat a couple meals in. The property manager was very responsive and the information on local attractions was very helpful. We would highly recommend the hike at Verrado Lost Creek Trail if you are looking to explore the AZ countryside. We would highly recommend this space!

The house needs some attention. It is very "tired". Hot tub was great but pool was dirty, kitchen was not well equipped, entertainment room TV didn't work, 2nd bathroom tub was falling apart, broken furniture in two of the bedrooms. Just overall, didn't meet the expectations of four basic guys just wanting to golf. (pretty easy to please)

Thanks for your feedback, Tim! We’re sorry to hear that some things didn’t meet your expectations. We wish we had known about the pool, TV, and broken furniture during your stay, as we didn’t receive a message about these issues in our thread — otherwise, we would have addressed them right away. We’ll share your comments with our team to make improvements. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know, and thank you again for your review.

Loved the house and pool. Well stocked for cooking, plenty of room. Only two bathrooms caused slow downs at times but we were accommodating.
