Excellent for snowmobile trail access and pet friendly.

Absolutely great location if wanting easy access to snowmobile trail. Park sleds in back and exit to the side with easy crossing across highway to trail. Very nice quite neighborhood location, where you can sit and watch the deer that visit daily. Heated concrete floors were great for snowy boots and wet paws. Great layout with secluded primary suite and secondary bedrooms divided by bathroom. Owner even has dog bowls for the pooch and pooper scooper out back. Actually wanted to extend our stay, unfortunately there was a booking behind us. Would definitely recommend and will book again for future trips.

The location was amazing. We sat outside and looked up at the stars for hours at the end of the day myself, and my daughter walked around the neighborhood and felt very safe. We were close to all restaurants and activities. Would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, but roomy. Convenient, but quiet.

We were very comfortable in this spacious, but cozy property. With deer curled up in the snow out the back sliders, an ample kitchen workspace, large bedrooms, and a roomy sectional couch, we felt quite at home.

Family getaway

Overall it was a wonderful experience at the location. We were surprised it did not have air conditioning because the first day we arrived, it was hot and humid. Luckily the owner had fans available for us to use. The weather cooled down and everything else was great!

Easy to Find

We found our stay at Wisconsin Hideaway to be exactly what we needed. The house is clean with a mostly secluded backyard. We had one hiccup at check-in mostly due to my error. Both the owner and host were kind and prompt in response to questions or concerns. If you don't need/want to be on a lake, this is a great location!

Friends up North

Just a couple of old friends and their wives meet up at a location a couple of hundred miles from home. We had a great home to stay in and lots of north country hospitality and great food. Fire pit was also a great way to end the day.

Driveway could have been cleaned up. Bottom had bank of snow when we arrived from snowplows going by. Overall no major complaints.

Family Snowmobile Trip

Came up to snowmobile with our kids. Great communication, loved the house. Enough room for the family to hang out. Snowmobile trail was a short drive down the road to the trail. There was room for us to pull our truck and 4 place enclosed trailer into the driveway.

Check-in was easy and the house was nice and in a convient location. The grill wasn't working but the owner sent out someone to get it fixed. The house does not have A/C but that wasn't a problem for us as the temperature was fine for our time.The house is pet friendly and smelled like dog when we arrived. We bought some air freshener plugins and removed some rugs from the bathroom that really smelled to help air it out. We noticed a decent amount of fur under the bed that was missed in cleaning and the fans could use a good dusting.

Cold, very cold

Cabin was clean, check in was easy. Cabin temp was in the 50's when we arrived. We turned up the thermostat, and hoped the in floor heat would come up overnight. It didn't. Reached out in the morning and the owner asked us to charge the thermostat up and try again. Owner said they would have someone look at it while we were out sledding that day. Someone was there, but the house was only marginally warmer when we returned, and never did get to a comfortable temperature.

Hi Kevin, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. We are disheartened to read your feedback. When looking into your concerns about the thermostat, the Nest thermostat had a loose wire and the battery died. Once I figured this out, we sent someone to plug it in and get it heated. It is an in-floor slab heat system it does take time. The thermostat is currently working fine as I had an electrician fix it and this will not be an issue for future guests. We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback!

We planned a trip to go snowmobiling with our kids. This was a great place to stay. We were able to pull our truck and 4 place enclosed trailer in the driveway. The communication was great and we loved that the trails were out the driveway and across the road.
