The cottage hides in a stunning farm overlooking the river and the beach. We enjoyed the most was watching the sunset by the campfire on the beach and also the wake-up calls of the birds. Great place for a family escape.
Had such an amazing time! The place was so peaceful, and the stars at night were unreal. The accommodation was pretty basic, but for the price? Totally worth it! Everything was clean and tidy, just don’t forget to bring your own bedding or a sleeping bag. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a chill spot, and I’ll definitely be back!
We have a wonderful weekend. The weather ranged from sun to wind and rain, but we enjoyed every minute of it. Great walks along the beach and gorgeous sunsets. Thank you very much for sharing your slice of paradise
The host was very friendly and helpful, the kitchen was well equipped and the location was great. On the less positive side, it is not a great place to stay when it is windy (there were gale force winds while we there); the walls rattled noisily and the wind came up through the decking flooring in the front room, as well as blowing straight into the long drop which has no door. Some of the furniture is extremely worn and lacking in charm. The bathroom window has no covering so lacks privacy. Overall just could do with a bit more care and attention to detail, like a lick of paint here and there.
Wonderful to be phone and tech free! The Bach a relaxing place to stay. Great star-gazing with zero light pollution, a great break from the hassles of daily life. Thanks for having us, we will return 😊
We love the location and the rustic batch. Georgina looked after us even though she is busy running a farm and a family. We felt welcome. The access to river and sea is unbeatable! The scenery and being on a working farm were the perfect refuge from regular life. Loved it.
