We had an awesome experience in this simple yet warm cozy cabin. Looks small from the outside, yet antique and comfortable inside that catered to all our needs. Laundry, cooking etc. Its clean and complete. Huge TVs as well. The jet-shower was the highlight including the fireplace (plenty of firewood which we really enjoyed). We’ll definitely come back. Thanks Paul, fam had a great time on the mountain.

Amazing little place

Close to everything you need and the fire was amazing, kept the cabin warm all through the night. It has everythong you need for a long or short stay. We can't recommend this place enough. We will be back.

Hidden Gem

Beautiful log cabin close to town but feels like middle of nature. Perfect for family of 4 with a bit older kids due to maisonette level only has a ladder to enter. We really enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

This was an fantastic option for our family with school aged children. The setting was quiet. We enjoyed star gazing while sitting in the he outdoor bath, the cosy fireplace, well appointed kitchen bathroom were excellent. The boardgame selection was excellent.We wished we'd stayed longer

Our stay at this log cabin was a fantastic experience! The cabin was super clean, tidy, and very well-stocked with kitchenware, making it easy to prepare meals without needing to eat out. The owner provided excellent and concise information for our stay. The location is incredibly convenient, and the serene surroundings with a mountain view made our trip even more special. It's definitely worth the drive from Auckland. We highly recommend it, 10/10!

Gorgeous Cabin Review

We loved our stay at the cabin. Everything was well thought through - simple but quality. Location was superb, fire cosy, loft great fun for the kids, deck secluded with great BBQ. Paul was most accommodating when we contacted him. Cabin was 100% clean. We would definitely love to stay again. Thanks for sharing this gem with us.
