We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Topsail. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We especially liked that all the linens were supplied which was one less thing to worry about. With the house right on the beach the kids were able to go out any time they wanted without us having to worry about them crossing roads (they even caught some fish!). We were very happy with our stay. Thanks!

Girls birthday weekend
The place was a perfect location. There where some issues with the house that I contacted the management on but never received any response. Garbage was overflowing in the outside cans when we arrived so there was literally a tower of garbage which smelled, a blood stain it fecal matter stain on the couch, no check in or out info book as stated in the check in email, the outdoor showers to rinse off water not working, the screen in the bunk bed room was ripped so couldn't leave door open due to possible critters entering. There where others things a well but these were the most outstanding that we felt could've possibly been addressed or even acknowledged by the management company
We had issues with the property. Dryer screen was loaded with lint...hard to even get out, ceiling fan in one bedroom lights wouldn’t go on, window sills in eating area were dirty, bulbs in kitchen area ...over island and dining area ...ceiling light were out, tv in bedroom on the top floor kept turning off, gave us queen size sheets for a king size bed, but the view was awesome.

Not a "Top Level" Experience
First, the good: Great location right on the beach. We had lunch every day under the gazebo and put a kiddie pool on the large deck by the beach. Very enjoyable outdoor experience. There were plenty of beach toys/boogieboards/coolers and beach chairs to use.
Unfortunately, we arrived at the property during Covid phase III reopening and were shocked to find counters/dressers/bathrooms still dirty. One of the beds was even still made from a previous renter. My family and I had to clean the entire house top to bottom before we felt comfortable settling in. Next, the water went out d/t a water main break for one day (I realize this was out of the property manager's control) but I was unable to get anyone on the phone for several hours. Next, the dishwasher broke midweek. They sent someone to try to repair it the next day (very friendly, wore a mask) but he was unsuccessful and it was never repaired/replaced during our stay so we were hand washing/drying for the remainder of our stay. Communication with the office was always very delayed. Several sliding doors are rusted so much they are difficult to open/close and the carpet on the bedroom level was old and crunchy. Overall I think the house was ok, it just seems like it needs to be more closely cared for and maintained. Ultimately we left a day early because it was just not an enjoyable stay.
We had a really nice time at Fit To Be Tide in the last week before the Covid lock down. For many reasons the community was nearly empty but we enjoyed ourselves in the house. The house had great access to a perfect beach and was well located on the island with close proximity to the pier, park and grocery stores. We had everything we needed inside the house and it was very comfortable. We'll definitely come back.
