Beautifully restored home with just the right modern upgrades. Super comfy beds and amenities. Great house for a family located central to lots of activities.Super host and property.
Beautiful house. The beds are comfy and the decor throughout the house was beautiful. Great location . Close to ballpark ,zoo and downtown . Will definitely stay again when in Cincinnatii.
This house is beautiful and well maintained. Very cozy and welcoming, we enjoyed our stay immensely. The communication from the host was timely and detailed. Parking is on the street, so depending on how many guests you have, you may want to carpool. That being said, parking was not a problem so don't let deter you from staying here. Also, we did hear the train that the host mentions, but only if we were outside. We never heard it while inside the house, and it never woke any of us up. We also walked to places to eat (Pike St. Cafe, Agave & Rye). Would definitely stay there again!
The property was beautifully maintained and central to everything we wanted to do! We loved the history of the house and were amazed at the basement setup with the arcade and air hockey table. The owners were extremely quick to respond with questions or clarifications!
It is a beautiful century home. The owners did a wonderful job renovating while keeping the historical charm. There was only one issue we had and that is proximity to the railroad tracks. The trains ran all night squeaking loudly, even causing the house to shut her at times. We never had a problem parking, which was a plus. If you are not a light sleeper, we feel you are 100% love staying in this home!
Excellent communication with the host, the house was awesome!! The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was great. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area. Highly recommend!!
We had the best stay! sweet home, perfect for a family with older kids. Driving distance from Cincinnati, Newport, and so much fun! Got to respite in the evenings. Loved it!!
The guest considerations is really the reason for rating 3 stars. 1st: the A/C thermostat is set on a timer to go back to a programmed set-point. Well, when it's 90 degrees outside and you've been out for the day, you don't want to come back to a house that is hot & stuffy after sweating all day. Same w/ sitting around the house in the evening & finding that the temperature automatically went back up at some point. Paying your electric bill to make the guests comfortable is one of the prices of doing business. 2nd: there were zero condiments/spices available if you want to do any cooking (except a salt/pepper shaker). Every Vrbo I've stayed in the past has things like butter, mayo... in fridge. Garlic powder...in a cabinet. No one travels with this kind of stuff, or wants to take it back home in a suitcase if they buy. 3rd: the game room down stairs is a nice touch that I really did enjoy, but the fact that the lights in the basement are on a motion sensor that turn off about every 3 minutes is quite annoying. See comment above about paying electric bill. 4th: the check out instructions were not listed in the guest guide (initially). When I reached out to the host to ask about them, he seemed flippant saying they're in the guest guide. When I said no they aren't he messaged them. It wasn't until near the end of stay that the instructions got posted to guest guide. 5th: Check in was at 4pm & the access code to get into the property literally wasn't given until exactly 4pm.
My family had an amazing time. The property is beautiful inside; plenty of space for my wife, two kids, and mom and dad. It was a perfect location from the Ark and Creation Museum. Enjoyed our vacation, plenty of space to relax and hang out, and a nice park nearby for the kids to play. Thank you for a fantastic, Father’s Day weekend!
We were so pleased with the mattress! I have had two back surgeries and need a soft mattress and these were perfect. We loved the antique floors and trim. I had to wear earplugs because of the trains being so close but that's the only negative thing. Highly recommend this house.

The house on 10th street was exceptional. All the guests staying would rate it a 6+ stars (but we can only give it a 5 star). House was very clean and ready when we arrived. Beds were super-comfy after each day of walking and site-seeing. Air conditioning was great in 90 degree day weather. Jeremiah was an outstanding communicator and answered my questions immediately. The instructions to unlock and lock up were easy and fast to work. The closing instructions were well written out. We had a great time staying in Covington and visiting Cincinnati. I'll highly recommend for future stays.
Very nice house. Amenities excellent. Very clean. EZ check in and check out. Convenient location to Covington, Newport, and Cincinnati. Street parking was available right in front of the house. Questions answered quickly by Jeremiah. Would highly recommend for your next stay

This house was great, it was super clean, the kitchen was great, and the furniture was very nice. We were able to walk to the convention center in 15 min, with no need for an UBER.
The sheets on the bed are quite nice, hotel quality, we really enjoyed our stay. Also, the host is very prompt in replying to any messages. There are several restaurants walking distance.
Very clean and lots of room. Comfy bed/pillows. Plenty of clean towels/linens. Kitchen has most amenities but we brought our own Keurig. Great location. Close to the stadium and also shops and restaurants. Minor notes: All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, upstairs can get really warm, couch not the softest.

Thank you for your wonderful review, Wendy! We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. You are welcome back any time!
This house was perfect for our weekend with friends. Everything was well appointed!! The beds were so comfortable with the finest linens. We loved the games in the basement. The house has so much character! Bonus was contacting sstikitours.com and touring the area on the Ohio River. Captain Kevin was the best, most knowlegeable tour guide. So many great restaurants and music venues centrally located to the house. One of the best rentals we have every stayed at - can't go wrong booking here.
Great except that we rented this property for the air hockey table and video game room and we’re unable to use it. The air hockey table had no pucs and the controls did not work on the game. The Grandboys we’re disappointed. Everything else was great.
I stayed with my two teenagers for three nights at Jeremiah's place. The place was super comfy, well appointed, and suited all of our needs. Street parking was plentiful. It was an easy walk to downtown Covington, which is adorable and has lots of delicious restaurants. Easy drive over the river to Cincy too. The game room downstairs was a fun bonus, and everything was in good working order there, except for a little unresponsiveness on one of the joysticks. I didn't catch from the description on Vrbo that the room with the twin beds has its own staircase, so that was a great discovery and my daughter super enjoyed it. This is an older house, so the stairways are very steep and other than the main one are not for those with mobility issues. The front porch was great for sitting out with some breakfast in the morning and a drink in the evening. The TV worked fine once you gave it a minute or so to get its bearings after turning it on. I'm used to really fast Internet where I'm from, so this could just be par for the course for the area. The train noise wouldn't have been an issue at all, except some of them were very long and constantly emitted a metallic screeching sound. After the first night I turned on the provided white noise machine before going to sleep and that made it much better. The beds were comfortable enough, closets were spacious, and the showers had good temperature and pressure. The upstairs bathroom has a bidet, which was fun to try. Overall a great stay!
We had a great stay in the Covington/Cincy area. The home was just as described and was comfortable and well equipped. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.
We enjoyed our stay very much! Extremely clean, great location and awesome amenities! House had great character. We would definitely stay again when in the area
