Home was secluded and clean, the host was responsive and communicated timely. We received a video with directions and how to get into the property, which was very helpful to us as we were new to the area. The private pool was a nice bonus as well.

We loved our stay! Everything was clean (no bugs) and welcoming. It truly felt like “Pura Vida!” We heard the Howler Monkeys in the trees and it sounded like music. This is why we came to Costa Rica, to be closer to nature.It was a short drive to the main part of Cahuita which was convenient. The property manager communicated with us and he even translated to English with no issue. I would stay here again. My only recommendation is that they add an iron and maybe invest in a washer/dryer. Other than that this stay is what we needed.

The interaction with the host in french was a bit odd. They did ask us to chat using whatsapp instead of the VRBO app. It was a bit concerning, but we got to the property and it was gorgeous! The pool was amazing! Highly recommend! There is a massive pot hole that you have to have high clearance to get through ,especially if it is full of water from rain.
